《新时代大学英语》说课稿

大家好!
我今天要说的课程是《新时代大学英语》,我将从课程设置、教学内容、教学设计、教学组织与实施、课程特色五个方面向大家展开介绍。 一、课程设置
(一)课程性质、地位
《大学英语》是我省高职高专院校各专业学生必修的公共基础课。
(二)课程定位
根据省高职高专英语教学大纲的要求,课程遵循“应用为主,够用为度”的原则,在专业课体系中凸显其基础性地位和工具性作用。
(三)课程目标
本课程的目标有三项:
一是知识目标,要求学生掌握语音、全部语法、常用词汇、基本句型结构; 二是能力目标,要求学生掌握基本的听、说、读、写、译五项能力,尤其是培养学生一定情境下语言运用能力。
三是素质目标,培养学生学习语言的积极性,养成情境中运用英语的好习惯。
(四)课程设计
本课程依据生活情景、学习情景、工作情景展开内容,遵循情景、遵循认知规律,从学生的可接受性出发,围绕高职教育教学的需要,借鉴当前各国普遍风行的“情境启发学”外语教学原理。采用“行动导向教学法”,只有在水里才能真正学会游泳,在课堂教学中以教学单元的话题为主线,设计一系列与话题相关的各种类型的任务,引导学生在语言运用中掌握语言。 二、教学内容
(一)内容选取
课程内容选取与学生的生活学习等密切相关,基本以大学生活不同阶段的相关话题展开课文内容,设计相关情景。学生学习过后使用频率较高,更能激发学生的学习兴趣,增强运用能力。
(二)内容序化
根据学生认知规律以及时间发展顺序,内容从新生的入学开始讲起,提出怎么适应大学生活的建议,之后插入大学生感兴趣的话题,如交友、兴趣爱好、假期、家庭、购物、环境等,一致到学生即将毕业、求职等连贯性的话题展开课文内容。全部内容伴随着学生的成长而深入,不离学生左右。 三、教学设计
(一)教学理念
语言环境是语言学习的根本,本门课程教学设计的理念是:创设好语言环境,调动学生潜意识参与到语言学习和语言运用当中。
(二)教学模式
采用“行动导向教学法”在课堂中以教学单元的话题为主线,让学生参与讲解,教师点评和补充并给与讲解成绩,激发学生的学习兴趣。
听力练习中设计一系列与话题相关的各种类型的任务,让学生用于张口,教师给与点评。
(三)教学方法
教学过程中视不同的教学内容,结合学生的认知规律,采用了灵活多样的教学方法,以调动学生学习的积极性,提高教学效率,强化学生职业能力的培养,可使用下列教学方法:
1.问题引导法
2.话题讨论法
3.角色扮演法
四、教学组织与实施
(一)组织实施
组织实施分为两个方面:课前准备与课堂教学
1.课前准备
根据话题内容,自行准备词汇、熟悉课文内容。根据词汇量,自行归属A、B、C三级。给出相关问题。
如第一单元中,给出问题“提出大学生活成功的几条建议”。
学生根据自己的级别准备不同的内容,A级的同学要求用自己的语言讲述答案,并给出1-2条成功的建议,B级的同学要求背诵或复述答案,C级的同学要求
在课文中找到答案,能流利朗诵。
2.课堂教学
首先教师进行内容引领,点出本课的重点单词、词组、句子、语法、结构。 之后创设语境,让学生在实际应用语言中,提高语言运用的能力。

(二)教学效果
1.教学过程注重师生共同参与、积极互动。
2.有计划地组织好教与学,强调课堂总结,使教学过程中能够提升学生的专业能力,也掌握多种学习方法。
3.在课程设计的过程中注重学生交流沟通、语言表达的能力的锻炼,并使其树立团结、协作、共同进步的团队合作理念。
以娱乐、竞争、升级的方式调动学生的学习积极性,实现师生互动、学生互动,更扎实的掌握英语知识。 六、特色与创新
1.教学模式上体现了行动导向和分层教学的方法。

Unit 5 The Land Where There Were No Old Men
The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China student’s Book3 Unit 5 The Land Where There Were No Old Men. I’ll be ready to begin this lesson from four parts. Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying methods and the teaching procedure. First, let me talk about the teaching material.
Part 1 Teaching Material:
This unit is about the old people. In a country the young people decided to kill all the old people, but at last they know they are wrong. It is important for us to know the old people play important roles in our country. So we should respect the old and take care of them .this unit keeps a positive tone or outlook. It includes exercises and tasks that enables students to think about how to show love to ole people. This unit also lets them role-play community work that deals with disaster relief. As we all know, reading belongs to the input during the process of the language learning. The input has great effect on output, such as speaking and writing. According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of children’s growing of mind, I think the teaching aims are the followings:
Part 2 Teaching aims and demands
1. Knowledge objects:
a) The Ss can hear, read, and use the main sentence patterns
b) The Ss can understand the content of the lesson and can
c) Ss can use the patterns to obey the words of the people.
d) To finish some exercises.
2. Ability objects:
(a) To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking and reading.
(b) To train the Ss’ ability of working in pairs.
(c) To develop the Ss’ abilities of communication by learning the useful structures
3. Emotion or moral objects:
a) By doing the tasks and the passage, let Ss know old people play important roles in our life. We should love and take care of the old people.
b) To enable the Ss to be polite and love life.
c) Improve Ss ability of working in pairs.
Now, let’s come to the important points and the Difficult points.
1. Important points
a) get Ss to konw words expressions of prejudices against different people.
b) Get Ss to communicate with each other.
c) Get Ss to make dialogues and act them out.
2. Difficult points
Develop the students’ reading ability.
Well, how to achieve the teaching objects better, how to stress the important points and break through the difficult points? As is known to us all, The modern teaching demands the teacher should improve the students’ ability. A good teaching method requires that the teacher should have the leading effects. According to the analysis of the teaching material and the students’ learning background ,I will use the following methods .
Part 3 Teaching Methods:
Using multi-media teaching equipment
1 .Group-Discussion.
2. Living performance
Invite some students to the front to perform some of occupations. Then, invite some others to describe in English.
3. Task-based” teaching method

Let Ss work in pairs to think about words expressions of prejudices against different people .
and ask them two questions
1. What role can old people in your hometown?
2. What, in your opinion ,should be done to ensure the legal rights of old people?
Step 2 Warming up and pre-reading
1.Show pictures about some the life of old people and ask Ss to discuss their lives.
2.Ask questions
a) Can we predict your future life when you get older?
b) What do you think may happen if all the old people are killed?
and falls.
Step 3 Reading
1. Fast reading
Divide the passage into 4 parts and summarize the main idea of each part.
The 1st part: the background of this story .
The 2nd part: A terrible droughts came.
The 3rd part: the old man solved this problem.
The 4rd part: the result of this story .

Suppose one student is a … and the other …. Ss are encouraged to put themselves in the situation.
