It was built in 1997 with an area of 1.39 sq. km, about one third of the original Qing imperial Yuanmingyuan Palace in Beijing.On the way to the New Yuanmingyuan Palace,let me introduce the beautiful city,Zhuhai to you.
Zhuhai is a prefecture-level city on the southern coast of Guangdong province in the People's Republic of China. Located in the Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai borders Jiangmen to the northwest, Zhongshan to the north, and Macau to the south. Zhuhai was one of the original Special Economic Zones established in the 1980s. The attractive environment and natural landscapes bolster Zhuhai's reputation as a garden city and a model city of best living environment.
An old Chinese saying goes like "Food is the paramount necessity of the people.And in Zhuhai,seafood is the most famous food,because Zhuhai is a seaside city.Such as Hengqin Island Fresh Oyster,Zhuhai
crab and Doumen shrimp. It's very delicious,we will try it later,I hope you will like it.
Now,look out the window of the bus,you can see a sculpture,this is the symbol of Zhuhai,we call her fisher girl.At the same time,you can see a long road behind her,and it has a romantic name－Lovers Road,there are a lot of lovers usually walk down the road hand in hand and enjoy the wonderful view.In Zhuhai people’s mind,the lovers road never rearch the end,that means the lovers will be together forever,and never break up.
