第一课教学设计
Section A 1a—2d(听说课)
教材分析:
(一)教材的地位及作用:
1、单元分析:
本课是新目标英语八年级上册第3单元第一课。本单元围绕谈论交通工具(transportation)和距离,这个题材开展多种教学活动,与上一单元联系紧密。本节课是本单元的重点.通过学习谈论交通工具和距离的练习,为今后学习合理安排行程,合理选用交通工具以及设计实践调查报告并提出解决问题的简单方案打下基础,同时通过 how do you get to sp? how long does it take?以及pairwork的反复操练,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合素质能力。
【学习目标】
1. 知识目标 :
1) 掌握本课单词: train, bus, bike, subway, ride, minute,
hundred, ninety, far, kilometer, new , (drive, air, land, sea, ship, boat, taxi)
2) 重点短语:get to school, take a train/ bus/ subway?,
take a walk, go?by car/ bus/ train/ land/ air?,go ?in a car/ plane/ on a bus/ bike, ride a bike, bike/bus ride, from home to school, every day(我对单词和短语 1
的处理:随学随用,步步紧跟,学完以后,立即造句练习;
不断提高学生听、说、读、写及知识自学的综合能力。)
2. 能力目标:能听懂谈话中涉及的交通方式和表示时间,路程
的数字;用重点句型询问并谈论乘坐交通工具的方式,路程和所花费时间。
3. 情感目标:通过本课学习,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人,学会 交换不同的看法,了解他人的喜好,增进情谊. 培养观察,归纳,推理能力和合作精神

通过多种教学法,情景教学,精讲巧练,由浅入深,由易到难,由已知到未知,循序渐进地深化教学内容。展开.教师为主导,以学生为主体的师生双边教学活动。
1、教学手段:多媒体辅助:用flash软件将本课所需要的动画、录音、图片、文字、图表和音乐制成cai软件,使抽象的语言变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景,实现师生互动,生生互动和人机互动的多向互动,增加了直观性和趣味性,加大了课堂密度,提高了教学效果。
2、学法指导:
新制定的《英语课程标准》把“培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心,培养良好学习习惯和形成有效策略,发展自主学习 2
和合作精神”放在了首位.根据依据课改的精神,遵循学生的认知规律,从单词—句子—情景对话—情景短剧—实际应用,采取循序渐进的原则,由浅入深,由易到难。情景兴趣教学。多以问答形式出现。
如何使用英语,如何在理解的基础上习得语言。在用中学,学中用。学会自己自主推测发现归纳提高,提高学习自主性和学习能力。寓素质教育于语言教学之中
三. 教学过程
导入新课: 激情导入,用学生每天如何来上学这个话题创设轻松活跃的课堂气氛,调动其学习积极性,迅速切入主题
warm—up.

hello, everyone! how is the weather t oday? it’s a sunny day with a gentle breeze. it’s comfortable. so this morning i come to school by bike. it took me nearly 20 minutes. you know i live far from school. i often take buses to come here. but it takes me more than half an hour. what about you? today, let’s talk about how you go from one place to another. and we will talk about the time it takes to get to places and how far it is between two places.

II.精讲点拨:
1. show some pictures of transportation(new words), ask students to try to read these words:
bike, train, subway, car, ship, boat, bus, airplane there is a words game.( ask students to look through the new words quickly, then check how many they can remember. give students some pictures about the new words and some word cards. the teacher show the new words or the pictures of the new words. if the teacher show the word “train” to the students, the student who got the picture of the train should stand up quickly and say “i’m here!” and so on.) talk about their own transportation with each other. and it will take him or her some time to school and the distance.
【设计意图】通过ppt图片向学生展示所学单词,图文并茂,非常直观地向学生展示了新单词.简单的单词游戏既调动了学生的学习积极性又强化了单词记忆
2.phrases:
1. show the pictures to students and read these phrases , ask students to repeat.
then show the pictures to them and ask them to say each phrase one by one.
take the bus/ by bus, take the train/by train, take the 5
subway/by subway, ride a bike/by bike, take a car/by car, take the airplane/by plane, take the boat/by boat, walk/on foot……
learn the new words with the pictures of transportation.
【设计意图】让学生通过图片来记短语,生动形象。句子接龙能引起学生的注意,让他们既要考虑自己怎么说还要注意听别人怎么说,而且在这一过程中充分训练了第三人称的句子
3. 看图ppt完成1a, 齐读1a中的短语,补充词汇:ship, boat, taxi, means of transportation, far,
【设计意图】总结乘坐交通的4种表达,见“自主探究”。
4. 完成1b. 齐读1b中的人名,辨别性别,再听填代表名字的数字。
5. pairwork
ask two students to read the dialogue in the speech facing to the class. then ask students to work in pairs. ask and answer how students get to school in the picture. as they work, move around the room, offering language or pronunciation support as needed. finally ask some pairs of students to present their conversations to the class. learn how to get to school and answer with“take”and
“by”. from this part, the students know how to use these new words of transportation.
the teacher show the pictures to students and ask students to answer the question “how do you go to school?” 6
one by one. then do another exercise. the first student say “i go to school by ……or i take……to school.”,then the second student say “he/she goes to school by……or he/she takes……to school.”
【设计意图】通过对话让学生更好的掌握所学的句型.完成1c, 齐读气泡中的对话,再分程度训练:学生两人一组,30秒时间集中看图,其中一人关上书,另一人用目标语询问,程度较差的同学可看着书训练。

【设计意图】学生自行观察规律,全班起立,轮流念数字,再进行跳数练习。
7. 完成2b. listening
1. after learning some useful words, phrase and important sentences, ask students to look at the picture in their books. ask them some questions about the picture:
what can you see in the picture?
how many people are there in the picture?
what are they doing
2. after this, play the recording for two times, ask students to finish activity 1b and write down the phrases of the transportations

3. for the third time, ask students to repeat the conversation and check the answers together. the teacher give the correct answers on the screen.
use these sentences again and again, then the students know how to ask and how to answer with “ how do you get to school?” and “i go to school by ……or i take……to school.” listen and check the kinds of transportation
【设计意图】通过听力让学生对于本课的基本句型有了一个初步印象,并且让他们自己从听力中领悟怎样表达使用某种交通工具。 先观察表格,思考并预测听力内容,根据具体水平可分栏完成听力。
8. 根据2c 中的句型和提示,两人一组练习2b中的对话,一人是Jane, 一人是Tom; 然后根据自己实际情况练习。
9. 完成 2d. 听并复述,同时思考3个问题how, how far, how long; 然后齐读纠正发音;老师讲解,学生进行角色扮演。 step6: summary
