Task 1 Attached to this brief is a case relating to ‘Genova Vending Machines’ which will be the basis
★ Most staff is worried about their job, because they will cut the workforce by 15%,
particularly in HR department.
★ A Management Consultant has given a report of their findings, 6 findings, review each of
the findings in terms of level of risk. Evaluate each finding overall as being:
Very high risk High risk Medium risk Low risk Risk free
★ Narrow down the 6 problem findings to 2 that you feel are most serious.
★ Give your recommendation to the management do to solve the problems, and justify the
reasons for your recommendation.

★ However, the company’s management believes if they put $1.5 million to investment to
open the international market, they may get the better profits.
★ Narrow down the 10 investments options to 3 that you feel are most necessary.
★ Give your recommendation to the management of your investment plan, and justify the
