英语课前演讲稿
Good morning, everyone, I'm so glad to be here and make a presentation. Before my presentation, i’d like to ask you some quertions.Do you know Li na,the famous tennis athlete in China? How much do you know about her?
I am sure that many students who have watched the Australian Tennis Championship on CCTV 5 during winter break. So today, i would like to talk about my thoughts of this game.
On January 24, Li na won over Sharapova in the women' s singles final. This is the third time that Li na has gone into the grand slam finals. Once again, On January 26, Li na went against a new opponent name Azarenka. On that day of the game, Li na was in the leadin the first inning, but during the second inning, she accidently fell down twice. People were shocked and sad about how she could not continue the game. But because of the people being worried, she doggedly continue the game, making the audience cheer and applauding her for her effort to continue her game. A t that time ,audience applauded foe her persistence.Although she lost the game, her hard effort and insistency moved us and motivated us.
And this case also appreaded in tthe men singles final the next day. Two opponents named Murray and Djokovic were against each other. Due to the game, Murray's foot had blisters that affected the way he
played. The doctor had to treat his wound with medicine. As human beings, if we had blisters on our foot, we may feel a lot of pain and don't want to walk. However, as an athlete, Murray had to withstand the pain and strive for the victory.
As far as I’m concerned, for professional athletes, games have become a part of their life. They fight inthe match, fight for their dream, and enjoy thir games
As students, studying is a part of our life.I know we may be confronted with many different kinds of problems, have you ever wangted to give it up? On the one hand, when i faced with difficulties,i felt sad and didn’t want to continue,on the other hand ,i would tell myself that:He who can sndure the greatest hardships will be the greatest among men.So to my way of thinking, on the road of studying, we need to learn how to keep ourself motivated and continue studying and learn how to make studying a better way to enjoy rather then boring ourself out.

Dear classmates, please look at this picture and tell me what flower it is. (点)Yes, it is a tulip.
(点)At the mention of tulip, we always associate Netherlands----the country of tulip. But in a North American country----Canada, people celebrate a day called Tulip Festival every year. From 1951 to present, Canada celebrates the tulip festival every year. So its capital----Ottawa
['?t?w?] is regarded as the city of tulip.(点)
Canadians love tulip not only because it is beautiful, but also because it contains the history and friendship.(点)
In the second world war, the Dutch royal ['r?i?l] (荷兰皇室) came to Canada to seek asylum [?'sail?m]. During this course, Dutch princess Juliana was about to give birth to her baby. (点)But the bad things were Canadian law rules that people who born in Canada are Canadian and according to the law of Dutch royal, prince and princess who could be admitted must born in Netherlands. (点)This became the biggest problem to the two governments.(点)
Finally, the Canadian government passed a bill—the hospital room in which the princess lived is gave to the Netherlands government. Then the baby was born in the “Dutch homeland” successfully.(点)
When the Second World War came to an end, there were more than 5 thousands Canadian soldiers lost their lives in Dutch war of liberation. Then Juliana princess came back to her homeland.(点)
In this autumn, Dutch people gave 100 thousands tulips to Canada as a gift to show their respect of the Canadian soldiers. (点)(点)These tulips were planted in Ottawa.(点)(点) Years later, Juliana princess presented 20 thousands tulips to Canada to express her thanks and Netherlands returned that hospital room to Canadian government.(点)(点)(点) From then on,(翻页) Canada receives tulips every year from Netherlands. (点)(点)In 1953, Canada celebrated the first tulip festival in its capital and now it has become the biggest tulip festival in the world.(翻页)
During the festival, various of floats(点), parties(点) and performances(点) are showed to people.(点)(翻页)Among these activities, the float is the most interesting one. People decorate the float with different flowers and put a beautiful girl in this float. The girl is called “float queen”. In addition, Ottawa provides the free bus to let people enjoy the flower as much as they like.(翻页)
I wish someday I also can enjoy the tulip festival. (翻页)Thank you.(点)
