地点类可以说也是雅思口语话题的一大类，也是最近超高频话题之一。所以环球雅思老师以咖啡馆为例，具体介绍一下此类话题应该如何去拓展。
例题：
Describe a café you have been to.
You should say:
Where it is.
What it looks like.
What kinds of services are provided?
What kind of food you like there.
Why you like it.
思路拓展：
Where it is.问的就是咖啡馆的地理位置，很多考生习惯性回答“It’s near ??/ It’s quite close to ??”这样的词汇太简单太普遍了，建议可以换成“Be adjacent to ?”、“Be vicinity to ?”这样的词组，让考官眼前一亮。
What it looks like.需要考生对于咖啡馆有一个具体的描写，包括内部设施、外部环境、给人的感觉等等。
对于装饰可以用词组“Simply decorated ?”、“Well-decorated ?”，句型“There are ____painting hanging on the wall ____.”
内部风格可以说是“It is furnished with ____in a ___style.”、“Traditional Chinese style”、“Western style ( antique , classical , gentle & warm)”.
对于气氛的描绘，词组：quiet and peaceful，Romantic & exotic（异国情调），Get away from the hustle and bustle of outside.
What kinds of services are provided? & What kind of food you like there.这两个问题问的是食物和服务，大众化回答就是“The food there is delicious and the service is quite good.”看看老师是怎样回答的吧。
? The food is home-made, excellent quality and shows imagination. The staff are fantastic, always very efficient friendly and well groomed.
? offers greater choice of quality food, kept simple and prepared with the freshest ingredients ......and always homemade with passion!
? Now, there is a vibrant cafe culture which draws both local and outside customers into the town as it develops into a place to visit as well as a place to stay.
? When you go there as if you enter into a Europe bar/pub/café.
? the gorgeous cookie, snacks & beer, sandwich, salad , pizza , chips ? are provided by such café. ( are available in this café). The food is high quality and well-prepared.
Why you like it.问的是你喜欢它的理由，不外乎从食物、服务、环境等角度去说。
例：Firstly, the food is of a good quality and well prepared. For example, they prepare only fresh fish, which they purchase at the fish market in _____. Secondly, the waiting staff is always friendly, polite, and helpful. What I mean to say is that they will advise you on any specials on offer, and they tend to any need you may have swiftly and efficiently. Thirdly, the restaurant is always spotlessly clean. Therefore, I never feel embarrassed to invite my family, friends, or foreigners to join me there for a meal. Lastly, it is situated conveniently near the
university/neighborhood/company/office.
