Forrest Gump has a difficult childhood because of his low intelligence and disabled feet. Only his mother, a proud single woman, believes in him and wants him to live a normal life.

Since his first day at school Forrest has been knowing Jenny, who also suffers from terrible childhood experiences that mark her for life. In his teens Forrest Gump successfully plays a good role in a football team. In the army he meets his best friend Bubba who inspirates Forrest and his future life.

After the war, he starts a shrimp business in order to keep Bubba’s spirit alive who did not survive the Vietnam War.

Actually,Forrest always longs for a normal life and all he wants is to meet Jenny again. He met her several times before, but they always separated for some reasons.

Finally, Forrest meets Jenny again who surprisingly has got a child with Forrest. Only a little time after their marriage Jenny dies and for Forrest a totally new stage of life starts: the roll of a single father. After appreciating the book edition and film edition,I am deeply moved by Forrest,for his bravory which may be a foolish desire for saving his best friend or his beloved girl now and forever.I am also impressed by his good luck which may be a destiny or a gift the God awards him for making up his uncompletion.Even though companied by unfortune,Forrest still leads to a colorful life in the help of his mother and friends and lover.Which impresses me most is Jenny who is not only his beloved girl but his soulmate.Jenny is a girl who is crazy about pursuiting freedom,and she goes everywhere to accomplish her singing dream even playing in front

of people without clothes.Nobody understands her but Forrest and thanks for the destiny,at the end they enter into the marriage hall.What a pity that Jenny dies several days later,but I still believe the God really make a perfect arrangment owing to the cute boy Jenny gives birth to.Maybe it’s so called destiny.
