⑵ the pronunciation and exercise for the 5 Rising Diphthongs /aI/ /eI/ /?I/ /?u/ /au/
The pronunciation and exercise for the 3 Centering Diphthongs /I?/ /ε?/ /u?/
⑶ the weak forms
and /?n/ eg. Or ‘slowly ‘opening wide, and ‘showing.
as /?s/ eg. ‘closed and ‘cold as ‘frozen snow.
are /?/ eg. ‘how their ‘golden ‘hearts are glowing.
at /?t/ eg. ‘arrive at ‘five.
for /f?/ eg. You ‘nicely ‘down for the night.
to /t/ eg. It is ‘never ‘too ‘late to mend.
than /??n/ eg. ‘Better ‘late than never.
must /m?st/ eg. You must ‘hit the nail on the head.
there’s /??z/ eg. Where there’s a will,there’s a way.
When the two plosive consonants are read continuously,
the first can be omitted but should have a pause.

When the same word were repeated, the first is stressed, and the latter is read weakly.

进一步激发学生学习英语的热情与兴趣,培养学生良好的听说习惯,提高广大小学生动脑动口的能力,促进我校英语口语水平的提高,于5月28日星期二下午三点在五年级教室举行举行全校小学生英语口语展示活动。
一、校长强调比赛的意义
很多人都梦想自己能说一口流利的英语口语,不少人也都搜集各种资料和训练方法来提高口语水平。成效是有的,可总达不到自己所期望的那样。如果由于各种生活杂事的羁绊而不能持之以恒的话口语水平也会迅速下降。对于许多人来说英语口语就像山峰一样虽然山顶硕果累累但难于攀爬。然而珠穆朗玛峰虽高却挡不住登山者的脚步。奥运火炬手们不也把20xx年奥运火炬传递到珠峰峰顶了吗?在预报山上可能下雪的情况下,是什么支撑他们这样做呢?我想肯定有他们心中熊熊燃烧的对北京开办的奥运会的火热的热情的支撑吧。热情会让一个人对某件事产生浓厚的兴趣,从而勇于参与不知疲倦持之以恒地去完成它,而且乐在其中。对于英语口语,人们经常说的是,要对它感兴趣,可却没意识到兴趣来源于对英语的热情。

作为学生,我们没有理由回避或者拒绝学习。英语口语反而应该尽早学习,掌握多一门技能,这对于增强自己的竞争力十分有用,口语应该随着时代的发展成为一种学习趋势。热情是一种素质,是一种性格。伟大的热情能战胜一切。因此一个人,只要强烈地坚持不懈,地追求他就能达到目的。一个人,当他有无限热情时,就可以成就任何事情。。一旦激发起了对英语口语的热情,就会义无反顾的去学习它,并持之以恒,直到实现自己所梦想的水平。
