The Review of《Gift from Room 7》

《Gift from Room 7》is a Korea movie which released in 2013. I think it produced more tears than any movie before. The story is compact, exciting. The film tells a story about a silly father who called Lngjiu, in order to buy a beloved bag for his daughter, involved in a young children kidnapped rapped and murdered case. The dead was the police chief’s girl. Longjiu couldn’t make out the condition and was sent into prison Room 7 wrongly where had a crime boss、swindler and so on. These criminals was touched by Longjiu’s childlike pure heart and taken a risk to bring his daughter into the prison……

After watching the movie, only a thought in my mind: this is the gap. It is no significant to discuss whether the plot of Room 7 is real and the logic is smooth or not. The film omits almost gray crimes process, just as a background to explain to the audience, and the more ink to draw the love of his daughter in prison and the impact on the surrounding after the girl coming.

I like the imagery of the film sailor moon. When Yisheng singing ‘punishment on behalf of justice’, the boss said with a smile, ‘like the words of the prosecutor’. The imagery is fictional and it lives in people’s imagination and expectation. However, the reality is ironic. The chief know that Longjiu is innocent, but he can’t accept the fact that his daughter is gone. So ‘kill’ become the vent of grief. We can see, the weakness of human nature is that people cannot resist the reality by bullying weaker to acquiring satisfaction.

Years later, the case entirely cleared, but it is no sense that whether the verdict has legal effect or not, because life is ended……

No country for old man

It’s a horrible movie that reminds us of the evil of the reality and the weakness of human.

The ordinary and kind countryman, think he is so lucky to find a bag of money. He can’t resist the temptation of the money and stuff it in his pocket. But the truth will finally come out, it’s just a matter of time. However, since that, he was hunted by the killing machine and live a frightening live. He drive from a city to another to dodge the killer and don’t have a peaceful night ever since.

The killer, with an expression of evil and cruelty, is so psychopathic that he may kill a passer-by with no signs. Beside, he may toss a coin to decide whether he’ll kill a person or not. He is really a madman who everybody want to avoid. But everyone is so helpless that although he may try to act with kind, he can’t stop his own tragedy from happening. It just is.

Apart from the cruel man, it also portray an old policeman who is fair and try his best to save people. But as he fight alone, he can do little to help. The countryman is killed in the end, not killed by the killer, but other unknown criminal.

The film tell us that evil is around us and everyone is not free from it. What we can do is trying to avoid it. Luck won’t always stand by us. We can’t live on luck but our hand. What you pay is equal to what you gain.

So work hard and resist the temptation, then you will lead a happy and peaceful life.

House ring travel notes

It’s a plain film without special effects and famous stars. It’s just an animate film. But it’s a moving one.

The story begin with two people’s love story: how they acquaint each other and how they spend their days together. They come to know each other mainly because of their desire for adventure. Their childhood is filled with funny dream and adventure as we were. And the boy is timid with few words while the girl is brave and out-going. So we will easily call up our beautiful memory of our childhood and leaving us moved. This is the best feeling that you enjoy digesting when watching a film. After they get married, they working hard to build their house and to decorate it. And there are some moving plot that can cause sorrow. They go to picnic, lie on the grass, outline their future. It’s so affecting because everyone long for this romance but we rarely can experience it in our busy life.

Then unfortunately, the wife died. And the man fell in great depression. Then he begins protecting their lovely house which contain his wife’s dream and their happy time from destroying.

That’s the story. Which it fascinates me most, is its beginning that contain so much moving plot.
