Benefiting from the demographic bonus, China is confronting an unremarkable crisis that many developed countries have already encountered. The problem is the old age boom. With the number of the old generation increasing, the pressure has become more and more irresistible. The following essay will analyze the effects from both individual and public aspects. What the old age boom brings about to individuals can be divided into two parts.
For one thing, it is impossible for all the old generations to follow the new trends of society; therefore a generation gap will appear between the old and the young. For another, if a family consists of more old people and fewer young ones, it will face a pressing economic burden of living and health care. In addition, to a society, the old age boom is not a good sign for the modernization as well. Firstly, each society whose vigor is endless demands more and more people to work as labor force for a certain period of time. However, with the number of old people growing, the loss and lack of labor force will be a huge crisis for those nations. Secondly, with a certain number of residents, the nation will develop and maintain a certain number of companies and factories in accordance with the demands of society. With a high mortality rate but a low birth rate, the local government has no other choices but to diminish the local scale of production, which will cause unemployment at the same time. In conclusion, the old age 'boom is a huge social problem for both developing and developed countries. To deal with this problem, governments and individuals should collaborate as much as possible.

Robbery, drug dealing, corruption and other sorts of crimes appear in society, which are called generally the anti-social behavior. Undoubtedly, these behaviors disrupt regular social order in many different ways. This essay is mainly about the reasons and the relevant solutions to anti-social behavior.

 The reasons for the anti-social activities are various and should be mentioned in at least three aspects. Firstly, most people living in society cannot believe in the governments which are controlling the local place.

In other words, a lack of public trust leads to anti-government feelings and even anti-social performances naturally. Secondly, the rich-poor gap will be another factor to intensify the conflicts and then different classes will solve their problems through fights or struggles. The larger the gap becomes, the more anti-social behavior will appear. Lastly, it is quite usual in a multi-cultural society that people live under assorted cultural backgrounds.

 However, the misunderstanding or discrimination will also be the key reason to racial clashes.

Although it seems that all these behaviors are hard to solve or even to control, there must be some solutions. First, the local and national government should always do the right thing under the stand and belief that citizens are the priority, in which authorities can gain people's trust gradually. Second, using tax policy and guaranteeing the social insurance can diminish the gap between the rich and the poor. Last but not least, it is vital for citizens to relieve their pressure when they feel any discomfort in a multi-cultural situation.

All in all, anti-social behavior will influence the individual as well as society in many aspects. Therefore, in order to cope with this issue, the government and the individual should reconsider this issue more prudently and insightfully.

　　“Getting somewhere” is a concept—despite its original meaning of “succeeding in something”—that plagues the general public around the world. To cope with the ever-deteriorating traffic, governments are believed to be able to help by providing free public transport around the clock.This essay disapprove of the practicality and validity in the practice.

　　It is admittedly true that public transport is certainly appealing, especially when it is offered for free and 24/7. With no fees incurred, most if not all commuters will favour public transport regardless of such downsides as relatively prolonged trip and less comfortable experience. Also,should passengers choose public transport, their road safety would be enhanced for the insurance attached to their fare and when they travel at an inconvenient/late hour.

　　However, it is impractical to implement all-day free public transport service. The first and most obvious obstacle is finance. Most countries are operating public transportation system as a public service with governmental subsidy, and thus free public transport might be financially impossible. Moreover, all-day public transport is theoretically redundant and with few precedents, and the need for that is little to none.

　　To further the argument, the measure in the topic lacks rationale. Apparently, an ever-growing population will most likely incurs more traffic, and in that sense, population control instead of free transport would be the key. More profoundly, reasons for ever-heavier traffic are urbanisation and city planning. With the influx of population, cities are forced to expand in area and accordingly traffic mounts. Also, civil planning without a vision adds to traffic problems—trips to places with congested traffic around are sometimes unavoidable.

　　In sum, free and all-day public transport service is not the cure to congested traffic because it is not financially feasible and does not address the issues behind the problem.
