《 How do you get to school 》教学设计方案
学习者分析 本单元的主题是谈论交通工具,谈论如何去某处,每天怎么上学,家离学校多远,要花多长时间,以及如何出门,如何了解途中的情况,如何解决途中遇到的问题。现在的学生与几年前的学生相比,多数没有太多的紧张心理,而是有较多的成就感谢,因此,他们会听,敢说,还敢写,尽管有很多语法错误,照写不误,可谓初生牛犊不怕虎。应该抓住学生的这种特点,在课堂上设置情境,通过活动进行交际训练,能够有效的提高学生的听说能力。
教学目标 一、情感态度与价值观
该部分学习内容贴近学生的生活,谈论的主题是学生每天都要经历的事,极易激发学生的主动性和学习学习兴趣。
二、过程与方法
利用教学图片来展开课堂 pair work 问答式的口语交际活动,谈论各自每天怎么到学校,同时进行听力训练。
三、知识与技能
1. 培养学生口语交际能力,谈论各种不同的交通工具,每天怎么上学,要花多长时间。
2. 了解外国孩子是怎么上学的,扩大眼界,达到培养口语交际的目标。 教学重点、难点
重点: 1. 复习词汇 numbers, take, bike, school
2. 学习词汇 bicycle, subway, car, bus, train, bus stop, train station, ride, walk, minutes, kilometers, miles
3. 句型 How do you get to school?
I take the bus.
How long does it take?
It takes 20 minutes.
How far is it?
It’s 10 miles.
难点:语法焦点在于
How questions Affirmative and Negative statements.

1 ) T: If you are here, but your school is in Shanghai. How do you get to school?
Ss: I take the bus /plane/ boat / ship / car / taxi
I ride a bike / motorbike
T: Do you know any other way?
Teacher shows a picture on the TV and teach “ subway , train , walk ”

2 ) Show a picture about Part 1, on the TV .
Point at girls or boys in the picture.
Ask students to ask and answer and writer in the planks .

Listen to the tape, twice ,and try to match them.

4 ) Practice in groups or pairs.

1) Show a picture on the TV and explain these are your home and
school .Teach 1 How long 2 10 minutes home----------school
Look at 2d. Then make up a dialogue to practice.
A: How do you get to school?
B: I usually take the bus.
A: How long does it take?
B: It takes 10 minutes by bus
利用多媒体导入 how long 和 minutes 是网络与英语的经典整合。 2 )Task 2: Make a survey and practice in groups , then repeat it .

3) Practice the passage
⑴ Give them 3 questions on the TV . Read the passage in groups and try to answer them. If you have any questions, you can ask me.

⑵ Check the answers and solve the difficult points.
Pay attention to “quick, bicycle , early ,shower”
⑶ Give them some minutes and try to retell.

4) Play games to practice “how long ” “how far”
通过多媒体出示几张同学们所熟知的小演员,猜出他花费多长时间上学,离校多远,答案与接近的组为优胜组
(游戏中有竞争,竞争中有游戏,真是黄金搭档,将课堂推向高潮)
5)Task 3 : The Winter holiday is coming . Discuss your holiday plan and fill in the chart.
( 在人物活动中,分别则中学生的听说读写能力,让学生在小组中交流合作竞争,每一个人物都存在一定的“信息差”,易于激发学生的表达欲望,再活动中他们一定会努力表现自己做到最好,给同学们提供了一个创造性想象的平台,学生们不亦乐乎 )
