Steps to Happiness 通往幸福的阶梯

Everybody should know：

You can't be all things to all people

你不可能被所有人喜爱，

You can't do all everything at once

不可能一次做完所有的事情，

You can't do all things equally well

不可能把一切事情都做到一样优秀，

You can't do everything better than everyone else you're human, just like everyone else.

????Someone asks me what on earth happiness means? I can't give you the exact definition of it, but I'm sure if you love and help others, you'll get it.

????I'll never forget an old lady. She lives in a small house alone. It's said that her husband and her son died in a traffic accident. How bitter her life is!But the old lady often helps others with a smile. Whenever it snows, she is always the first to clean the paths. She looks after several children living nearby. I am one of them. I often remember the stories she told us and her kind smile. Perhaps she is unlucky, but I think she is a happy person. Her life is full of laughter and love.

????But I'm sad to see some people getting their happiness in bad ways.They speak loudly in cinemas and meeting rooms; they destroy trees to enjoy themselves and they laugh at others' shortcomings. Perhaps they feel happy at that time, but they will never get true happiness because they have lost their personality.

关于幸福 What is Happiness?

What is happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some believe that happiness is that they have much money so that they can live a better life. However, others regard happiness as having a good job or making a progress.

幸福是什么？不同的人有不同的看法。有些人认为幸福就是他们有很多的钱，让他们过上更好的生活。然而，其他人则认为幸福是有一份好的工作或者进步。 Actually, happiness is a true feeling from our inner heart! 实际上，幸福就是来自内心的真实感受！

We can consider carefully what our feeling is when we are in the following situations.

我们可以认真想想当我们遇到下面的情形时我们的感受是怎么样的。

First, we help an elderly across the road, or give some solutions to our classmates' learning problems.

首先，我们帮助老人过马路的时候，或者帮助同学解决学习上的问题。 Second, we get some help from others when we are in need.

第二，在我们需要帮助的时候得到他人的帮助。

Third, we make new friends, or have a meal with families, or have a conversation with parents and so on.
