Sources of Finances

According to the time duration during which we can use the fund sourced internally and externally, we divide sources of finances into three different groups: Short-term finances (no more than one year); Medium-term finances (two to ten years); Long-term finances (more than ten years)

The short term refers to funds that are borrowed for a period of no more than one year. Short-term finance will be appropriate to finance seasonal clical fluctuations in trading, general working capital requirements or purchasing minor fixed assets with a short working life; The medium-term refers to funds that are borrowed for a period of between two and ten years. Medium-term finance will be appropriate to finance the acquisitions of materials or fixed assets with a medium term life span, to overcome a persistent cash flow problem of finance small-scale expansion. There is no medium term finance in this case; The long-term refers to funds that are borrowed for a period of more than ten years.
