在这里我不是要说以貌取人是完全不对的，毕竟“爱美之心人皆有之”，但以貌取人确实是有它的弊端的。

我们有时会被人的外貌所蒙蔽。你有未想过在一张丑陋的脸下，也许会是一颗聪慧的心呢？你有未想过一张美丽的脸下，是否也会有一副阴森的肚肠？正是，美丽未必真的美丽，丑陋未必真的丑陋。不过，世上也不乏上帝的宠儿，又美丽，又才华横溢，着实让人羡慕。

不过，一个人的脸相有时确实反映了人的内心世界。脸最重要的部位是眼睛，眼睛是人心灵的窗户，会看脸相的人，懂得如何正确地以貌取人。有位美国总统因某位秘书脸相不好而不雇用其人，这并不是说他以貌取人，而是说明他会用正确的方式以貌取人。

以貌取人，是大家的一个共同特点，但美的未必真美，丑的未必真丑。我们有时会被外貌所蒙蔽，而外貌的丑陋，又常会给人带来自卑，这就是以貌取人的弊端。所以，不要以貌取人，注重心灵美吧。

以貌取人，不可取；注重心灵美，才是真道理。

人不可以貌取之，举几个例子：就说那个莫言，写大家熟悉的“红高粱”的那个，五十好几了吧，脸还像个放羊的孩子，脸胖也不胖个标准型，鼻子底下就象长了两张嘴。（百度有剧照）可人家文章好啊，有头有脸的，唉，与自己的长相根本不相干。

著名作家贾平凹，现为陕西省作家协会主席。他自己承认他是西安最丑的男人。

清朝的郑板桥，一字万金，诗、画都是在当时都是数一数二的。可再看他这个人那张脸，一张脸活像晒了半年的红枣干，额头扎条破布像个干瘪的老太太。但是，他随便写的几个字，随便涂的几笔画，数不清有多少人朝思暮想，盼之不得啊。

综上所述，我认为不能以貌取人，以貌取人是一种肤浅的观念。
