6a-1.00 GENERAL

6a-1.00 总则

6a-1.01 All hotels must have at least one multi-service, 3-meal restaurant. Gracious, elegant, and comfortable dining rooms each with its own decorative theme and ambience. The restaurant is usually very elegant, with particular menu specialties. The size of the restaurant is market driven but in no case shall the total number of restaurant seats be less than 75 seats.

Compressor must be completely concealed and soundproofed in housing forming part of buffet unit. Base of housing must be vented to provide air to the compressor. Access panels for service must match adjacent finishes. All wiring, plumbing, and waste lines must be concealed.

6a-4.03 Dining table tops must be a wood with a solid wood edge binding and polyurethane finish or granite. Table size must produce 324 sq. in. (0.2m) of surface area or more per person. A minimum 25% of the tops are to be 24" x 30" (600mm x 700mm) in size for versatility. Table base must be designed to support tabletops without tipping over easily when weight is applied to one side. Three point base support being the preferred to avoid table wobble.

6a-6.01 Zoned, thermostatically controlled heating and air conditioning system must be provided, except where the restaurant is in an open environment and approved by Hilton Hotels Corporation.

6a-7.01 Restaurant lighting shall provide adjustable intensity levels, with an absolute minimum lighting level of ten (10) foot-candles (107 lux) measured at the table top.

The size of the lounge is market driven but in no case shall the total number of lounge /bar seats be less than 50 seats. Market specific variations may suggest considerably more or less seating. Hilton Hotels Corporation must review each plan individually based on local market demands/requirements.

Three point base support being the preferred to avoid table wobble.
