在教学设计上,我创设了情景.激发学生的学习兴趣和学习热情,让学生在愉快的氛围中去学习新知识。在呈现单词时,我以旧引新,通过复习上节课的相关单词来呈现新知;注重培养他们运用新知识的能力和语言交际能力。对重点单词讲解详细,如send,从send开始变sending,详细讲解句子复数该怎么变化怎么用。这也是我本节课讲解最大的亮点之处。并按实物图片教单词,来降低知识难度。听力是英语教学中一个比较重要的环节,它能够使学生全神贯注,注意力集中起来。事实上,在课堂教学过程中,学生们也已经做到了这一点。在整节课的流动行程中,我主要是运用任务型教学,完成一个又一个任务来帮助学生学会知识,完成本节课的教学目标和任务。并且这些任务之间是存在着一定的关系的,它们由易到难,以递进方式上升,符合小学生的学习特点和学习规律。在教学中,要体现真实性和实践性相结合的原则。从学生已经掌握的本单元的知识入手结合旧知识来创设去邮局购买邮票信封的场景。教师设计的活动真实有效,.贴近学生实际生活,让学生感到亲切而自然。本节课的不足之处在于,在单词教学的过程中花了很长时间,导致后面的教学任务有些紧,时间不足,特别是最后,让学生自己去表演运用的部分时间过少,有两个小组没有机会表演。

Teaching Aims:

Ss can talk about what he see on the way to school.
3. Moral goals:
Stimulate Ss’ interests of spoken English.
Teaching important points:
1.Words and phrases: on one’s way to, go past=pass
2. Grasp the key sentences: a: Jenny and Brian are on their way to school.
b: Usually we take the school bus. c: We will go past some of my favourite shops.
d: It has so many good things to read.
Teaching difficult points:
Further study of adverbial clause with “because”.
Teaching Steps:
Step1: Present
a: Introduce Lesson20. Ask individual students to read the title and discuss its meaning.
b: Discuss the Think about It questions as a class.
Step2: Listening
Listen to the tape and answer the questions.
Step3: Reading
Instruct the Ss to read silently and write T or F Ss should check and correct their answers in groups.
