It is my honor to be here and introduce my hometown today.
My name is XXX. I am from Kaifeng ,in Henan province
Kaifeng ,located along the southern bank of the Yollow River ,is famous for its long history and culture. It is one of Seven Ancient Capitals of China . During the Song Dynasty, it was called Dongjing or Bianjing ,then, Kaifeng was the capital of China.
As the capital cities of Kingdom Wei,Liang, Jin，Han, Zhou, Song dynasty and the end of Jin dynasty, Kaifeng was founded in about 4500 years ago. Therefore, there are a lot of places of historic interest, such as Longting, Kaifeng iron tower, Great Xiangguo Temple and the place of interest around the lord bao lake.
As the representative work of Zhang Zeduan, a famous palace painter living in the late Northern Song Dynasty, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival is a handscroll of painting reflecting the life and customs of the Northern Song Dynasty People in Kaifeng are all very friendly ,like me, welcome to my hometown Kaifeng !You will like it.

4.春节TheSpring Festival
Dear Mike,
How are you? I’m really glad that you areinterested in traditional Chinese festivals. There are many traditionalfestivals in China, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Day and so on. I’d liketo introduce the Spring Festival to you. Spring Festival is the most importanttraditional holiday in China. It usually lasts for 15 days.
Days before the festival, people cleantheir houses. They think cleaning sweeps any bad luck. They decorate theirhouses with paper cuts. On the eve of the festival, family members get togetherand have big meals. Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. Atmidnight, they set off fireworks to welcome the New Year. During the festival,kids get lucky money from their relatives. People visit their relatives andfriends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happy they are!

5端午节Dragon Boat Festival
Dragon Boat Festival is my favouritefestival. It is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of thefifth month of the Chinese calendar.
During the holiday of Dragon Boat Festival, Igot together with my family to have a big meal. We often ate the zongzi. Ittasted very nice. And we saw the Dragon Boat Races. I felt excited because therace was bustling with noise and excitement. At Dragon Boat Festival, we alsodrank realgar wine. Some people thought drank realgar wine can protectthemselves from illness.
DragonBoat Festival was interesting and I like it very much.

6.我们应该有祖母节We Should Have Grandmas’ Day
Dear Mr.Ban,
We have many festivals now, like Mothers’Day，Fathers’ Day and Earth Day. Why don’twe have Grandmas’ Day? My grandmother is very old, and she has done a lot ofgood things for us. I love her forever. To show love for our grandmothers, Ithink we should celebrate Grandmother’s Day. I think Grandma’s Day should becelebrated on May 5th every year. May is a month of colorful flowers.
