Living with Responsibility
First of all, I’d like to ask you a question, what is the most significant stuff in your mind? I guess the answer may be youth, self-esteem, or even something greater, like the sense of national proud and etcetera. When I asked myself the same question, the answer used to change, but now, it’s clear and certain, responsibility. Growing up gradually, I
realize that responsibility is meaningful, important and momentous. At least, it’s what I cannot afford to lose.
As a member of family, we have been held tightly in the warm embrace from our parents. They give us all their love and we have no idea how much they have sacrificed while we are growing up .We owe them a great deal over the passing days. And now, it’s our responsibility to provide them with good conditions to give them a golden period of lives. In a word, responsibility means love and gratitude.
Families make up the society, and the society needs every one of us. I remember the famous saying from Liang Qichao that excellent juveniles create splendid future of the country. We are supposed to try our best to make China more powerful. It’s our responsibility and aspiration.
Living in the Global Village, to keep safety and peace is our inescapable responsibility. There is no doubt that we are too small to be noticed. Nevertheless I do believe that a little sparks may kindle a great fire. If each of us knows how to live in peace of others or other countries, anger will fade away and hurts of wars will go .If each of us come to realize that the protection of environment can no longer be waited, the tears of regret will never belong to us.
Responsibility, it seems to be cold like a rock, a burden. But when we step into the society, responsibility, as an adult gift, has been quietly landed on our back and we must take it in our hands without other choices. We might feel a little bit helpless, but sometimes it is the helpless feeling that drives us forward and we can become a real man step by step. Gradually, when we see enough of the world and after the baptism of time, we will get to know the true meaning of responsibility and realize we are really alive.
第二篇:英语演讲稿写作
Hello everyone! Today my topic is “We Are Post-90s”.
Who are we? It is a question which seems lack of originality. The first idea that struck me is the answer “post-90s”. We were born in the Net Generation, and most of us were only children.
As you know that different eras have different symbols, and different symbols have their own ways of embodiment. Our society is developing and *** progress;thus it is bound to be changed. Because of the Internet, our habits and customs are connected with the world. However, that doesn’t mean we no longer owe the good virtues and merits of the Chinese civilization that inherited from the ancestors.
Growing up in cyber time,we contact too much information,we accept new things quickly. But we were in touch with the reality far too little. We didn’t experience the madness of the Cultural Revolution. We don’t know what did famine mean in the past. We are not accustomed to the implicit emotion. Growing up with the Internet,we love fast-food culture;we prefer computers to books and newspapers;we are keen on dance music of Japen and Korea, and even most of us are idolaters. Therefore, many make the comments that we are uninhibited, shallow thinking, ego and conceited. There’s no wonder that we are regarded as uninhibited for we wear bizarre clothing;we are regarded as shallow thinking for we are no more interested in classical literature but in Internet;we are regarded as ego for we blame others blindly yet never self-criticize;what’s more, we are regarded as conceited for we are accustomed to sniff at everything without knowing the fact.
Nonetheless,in fact the reason why we are premature is that we dare to explore;we raise one question after another is that we have strong curiosity. We don’t lack of calm and insightful thinking under our mirthful look. We get away from home in search for the freedom regardlessly. Moreover,we create something new and original as we hate ideologism.
When I planned to go for travel this summer holiday, my parents didn’t support me which made me very frustrated. They were concerned about my safety. I’ve made my mind to go outside and widen my views, so I decided to make money by myself. I got up early that morning and arrived at the place the employer and nobody answered the phone. I couldn’t help thinking I was cheated and becoming more and more anxious. At that time I met some other peers who were hunting for part-time jobs, so I joined them. Finally, we found a job which was a little same like marketing. To get employed, I had to make a self-introduction and show my abilities. At first, I was thinking to quit but finally I did it and got the job. I worked very hard and my legs had lost feelings. That day, the charge said I performed the best. I could never forget how excited when I put the money in my pocket. From then on, I tried to bear mean environment. I know it’s very hard to make money.
On the other hand,we post-90s all have a warm heart under our mask. Take Wenchuan Earthquake and Beijing Olympics for examples. Wenchuan was in a terrible mess after the disaster. The houses were collapsed and people were buried under the ruins. Everything seems in desperate condition. Thanks to them-the People’s Liberation Army, most of which were post-90s.
They rushed to the stricken area and tried their best to rescue the afflicted people. Though exhausted and toiful, they didn’t complain, but just get involved in the work. The whole society was impressed by them deeply. Since then the post-90s were not as cold and weak as people thought before. We post-90s are responsible for the society;we love our country;we care much for people;the most important is that we are not afraid of difficulties any more. As for the Beijing Olympics, most of the volunteers were post-90s. During the game, they helped with the atheletes, audiences,as well as visitors. They worked hard everyday and smiled to everyone. Our post-90s’ demeanor were appreciated by the whole world.
We post-90s take too many responsibilities and hopes, with misconstruction and criticism all the way. I think we need more understanding and tolerance. In conclusion,I’d like to say that”facing the future,we are ready.”
That’s all for my speech. Thank you for your attention.
