My dream—to be a singer Good afternoon, dear teachers and students. My name is . I’m from Today I’m very happy to have a speech here. My topic is “My dream—to be a singer”.

Some people want to be writers. Some want to be teachers. Some want to be doctors. My dream is to be a singer in the future. I hope my songs will spread all over the country。 I hope everyone will enjoy my songs.

I like singing. I learned many beautiful songs. I started to join all kinds of singing contest. I sang better and better. I’m proud I can sing beautiful songs.

Singing songs makes me happy, makes me feel confident. And also it makes my school life colorful. Some of my classmates admire me. Under my influence，they began to love songs and learn singing , too.

Sometimes we sang and danced happily together.

I hope I can be a singer in the future. I will sing for the patients. To make them forget their pains. I will sing for the old . To make them not feel lonely. I will sing for the children, for the heroes, for the poor, for many people. I hope my songs will make people feel happy. I hope I can be a famous singer like Zhang Jie.

However, I know that I could not succeed without efforts. So I must study hard at school, learn singing skills more and practice more. I believe that I will make my dream come true one day with my own hands.

My Chinese Dream

Distinguished guests,the esteemed panel of judges，ladies and

gentlemen，good morning. With great honor to stand here，in front of you，my topic today is My Chinese Dream.

Dreams!how nice do they sound.I am convinced it’s no exaggeration to say that the significance of dreams can never be over-estimated. Because it may inseparably associated with everyone here. Everyone has his own ideal and pursuit as well as his own dream. However,there is a dream which belongs to you and me ,which is filled up with thousands of people’s profound love,which is called Chinese dream.

China is witnessing great changes in 21st century ,and this fact brought us to the realization that we can never stand by and do noting. Why? Because all the Chinese people account for the brilliant future of China. Because the Chinese dream is deep rooted in every Chinese people’s heart.

There is a famous martial arts actor who learned Chinese Kongfu since he was a little boy. With a dream to carry forward the martial arts,he struggled his determination to devote his whole life to fighting for the dream. Finally ,he succeed ,but he also realized that he could do

something for others . So,he founded a charity to help people as far as he can .His name is Jet Lee. He acts as a reminder that we do can combine our own dream with the Chinese dream,no matter who you are,what you

do ,and where you go. I’m a college student in new era ,and I’m proud that I have a dream,an aspiration in my mind. And I will contribute to our country with my spirit of hard work,passion and courage.

As everyone knows,making empty talk is harmful,while doing practical jobs can help it thrive. So,no matter what dreams you have,no matter how many difficulties you will be faced with. Go ahead ,you should be hard-working and persistence to make your dream come true.

40 years ago,when Martin Luther King fell down,his words ‘ I have a dream’ spread across the world. Similarity ,there is also a dream in China. It is not a grandiose slogan ,and it does not lie with the government. It belongs to every ordinary Chinese,and that is the Chinese dream.

Dear friends,it is time for us,the new generation now. We should use our hands to make our country more and more prosperous . Let us work together!
