As a young English teacher, I have to face different kinds of students and deal with trivial things every day. Life goes on, but sometimes its becoming frustrating and I feel very tired. How to make my life become better? Im always seeking for the answer. Fortunately, when I read a magazine one day, I found the truth to make my life 100%. Today I would like to share it with you. Now, my dear friends, lets do an interesting test together and then you will find the secret by yourself! As we all know, there are 26 alphabets in English, A to Z. Against them we have the numbers 1% to 26%. If A is equal to 1%, and B to 2%, and so on, until Z is equal to 26%, then can you guess what can make our life 100%? That is to say, what can make our life perfect? Some of you may suggest Money. However, after calculating, youll find it only comes to 72%. Now try a few more. Knowledge? Yes, knowledge is power! But this time it only comes to 96%. How about love? That only shows at 54%. Luck does even worse, only at 47%. Though most of us think this is the most important. Then what makes 100%? Hard Work? Closer, 98%. But not exact. Now, what on earth can make life 100%? Well, every problem has a solution, only if we perhaps change our attitude. Yes! Only ATTITUDE comes out at 100%. Many of the gifts we have been given have been distributed unfairly. We all wish we had the ability of the talented, the money of the rich, and the luck of the beautiful. But none of these matter. There is only one thing we all have equally and can always control even in the worst situations. And that is our attitude. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Therefore, attitude is the thing that shapes who you are the most. Attitude is everything. Now, my dear friends, please give the world a sunshine smile. Good morning , honored judges .It is my greatest honor to be here today. I would like to share my English learning and teaching experience with you .

I could remember English has been my favorite since my junior high school. At that time I had a dream that one day my job must be something that connects with English.

After graduating from University, I started my career in teaching English. Only then did I realize the true creed of being an English teacher. Besides teaching a foreign language, an English teacher can also help students learn and understand more about a very different culture. In addition, if knowledge is a bridge to success, then an English teacher must be a bridge for students to learn a foreign language, a bridge to aid students’ communication with foreigners, a bridge to share our Chinese culture with others.

Learning English should be fun and exciting and must not be boring or with a sense of failure .After becoming an English teacher, I do whatever I can to make my class lively and instructive. I think, to be a good English teacher, he should know his subject well. His personality is as important as his knowledge. A good English teacher must be enthusiastic. He must love his students and respect them. In addition, he must also respect himself and take pride in his work. A good English teacher should be kind, encouraging, and helpful and he should motivate his students to seek knowledge.

I am very content for being an English teacher. I am so grateful to have a life that is filled with teenagers’ love and trust. When my students answer my questions correctly, when they discuss passionately and when they communicate with foreigners fluently, I know I have done a great job. Nothing can replace my pleasure. It’s English that makes my life wonderful. It is English that makes me feel confident. It is English that makes me feel different about myself.

Lastly, my honored judges and English teachers, I would like to share my dream with you. It is a dream deeply rooted in all Chinese’s hearts. I have this dream that one day, when our country becomes the world largest economy, all citizens from other nations would come to China to learn Chinese to get into our latest science and technology .And we, now English teachers, will, then, be able to teach them Chinese in English .This dream must and will come true.

That is why I, together with you, strive our best to be an excellent English teacher today!
