Recently Jiangsu Provinces has made a plan to reform its college entrance examination.
书面表达【参考范文】 said that probably English will not be included in the college entrance examination. Opinions are greatly divided on this topic.
Those who support the plan hold the view that when students’ enthusiasm in learning English is reduced, they will have more time to learn other subjects. Moreover, they will have less homework, thus no longer suffering from so much pressure.
However, every coin has two sides. People who are against it think the reform will not only have a bad influence on the teaching and learning of English, but also affect students’ long-term development.
Personally I am not in favor of it. Firstly, English is more than an international language. It is an important tool. Also, we cannot get along well with other countries and learn about their cultures

Good habits of learning, such as previewing what you will study, listening to teachers attentively in class, completing given assignments by yourself and reviewing what you’ve learned in time, will help you acquire more knowledge and improve your skills. Meanwhile, good habits of living will make you develop soundly, both physically and mentally. Therefore you must attach importance to healthy food, constant exercise, reasonable schedules and eyesight protection.
Good habits contribute to our success. Once a good habit is formed, it will give us power to control ourselves. While we are making efforts to form good habits, we should try to kick bad habits. improved. Private cars have become one of the main means of transport I n our daily life. Meanwhile, to release the traffic pressure, a free bicycle-rent service has come into being, promoting a greener way of life.
As far as I am concerned, if the destination is not far away, bicycle is a much better choice. For one thing, the number of cars has increased so faster that you may easily get stuck in the traffic jam wasting your precious time in the rush hour. For another, riding a bicycle takes the same amount time as using public transportation or a private car and it is obviously more convenient, time saving and environmentally friendly.

We can draw a conclusion from this survey that according to the data, passive pursuits are far more popular nowadays than active ones and that those who opt for creative pastimes are in the minority.
In my opinion, since the addiction to watching TV or videos or playing computer games is likely to do harm to children’s health, parents should be responsible for limiting the children’s time spent on passive leisure activities.
