学生参加荣昌县英语风采大赛的故事演讲稿
The rainbow fish
A long way out in the deep blue sea, there was a fish. She was the most beautiful fish in the ocean.
“Look at me, how beautiful I am.”
The other fish were amazed at her beauty, They called her rainbow fish.
One day, the other fish said: “Rainbow Fish, Rainbow Fish, come on and play with us!” But the Rainbow Fish just go away proudly.
Then, a blue fish said: “ please give me one of your beautiful scales, shall we?” The Rainbow Fish said: “No, get away from me!”He was so upset and swan away.
From then on, no one play with the Rainbow Fish. So the Rainbow Fish felt lonely.
One day, she told the trouble to a octopus: “I’m so beautiful. Why did’t they like me? What should I do?”
The octopus said: “give a glittering scale to each of the other fish, you will no longer be the most beautiful fish in the sea, but you will discover how to be happy." Then the Rainbow Fish gave her some glittering scales to the other fish and play with each other. She felt very happy. The story teaches us: “share and get more!”

got into a fight.
嗯,简批评我,说我自私、懒惰,所以我们就吵起来了。 Mom:Hah, don't you think what she said is true?
哈,难道你不认为她说的很对吗?

嗯,我承认我可能很懒,还有点儿自私。但是……
Mom: Come on, sweetie, only true friends will point out your weak points.
行了,宝贝儿,只有真正的朋友才会指出你的弱点呢。
