显而意见本文的大意是a restaurant which specializes in Sichuan hot pot。

其实这里边有很多异于平常的词汇表达,比如 specialise in,有些考生可能这么表达:be good at或者do well in。

点出主题(subject/Sichuan hot pot)——餐厅位置(location)——就餐频率(how often/frequency)——食品种类及吃法(kinds of food and how to eat)——价格和服务(price and service)。

Describe your favourite restaurant.

You should say:

where it is

how often you go there

what kind of food they serve there

and explain why you like to eat at this place.

My favourite restaurant is a small one near my home that specialises in Sichuan hot pot. It’s about five

minutes’ walk from my home and my parents like it too, so it’s not at all surprising that we go there virtually every week. The food is typical for that kind of restaurant——a wide variety of meat and vegetables that you can add to the hot pot mix. Of course, there are several sauces that you can dip your food into too. The food is reasonably priced and the service is fast——two other good reasons for us to like this particular restaurant.

Yes, certainly. Shenyang is in the northeast part of China, and the capital of the Liaoning province. It has about seven million inhabitants. It has

hometown has not been westernized to the same extent as a city like Hong Kong. For example, in Shenyang the people have not become materialistic to the same extent as the inhabitants of Hong Kong. In other words, in
