In my capacity as Yin Yingchao’s teacher in the courses of Principles of Insurance, Economics Literature Reading as well as her supervisor in several research projects, I am very pleased to recommend her to your program. In 2014, I first met her and later had more contact, which enabled me to understand her academic research capacity, skillful communication, team work and organization skills. Hereby I am writing in the hope that this letter can help with your assessment of her overall competency.

First, Yin Yingchao does an excellent job in academic research. With strong research ability, she could finish the assigned scientific research tasks with high quality and a short time. In particular, she performed prominently in gathering information and summarizing data. By combining the class knowledge and real cases, she could draw inferences about other cases from one instance. From the sophomore year, she has got involved in several research projects including the insurance fraud case concerning Asian countries (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Mainland China) and western countries (America, European countries), analysis and summarization of network insurance security cases both at home and abroad, organization of PPP documents in China, analysis of China’s deposit insurance system design and suggestions, and so on. It was not a long time later after the last analysis report was submitted that China issued Deposit Insurance Bill, many items of which were in conformity with the information presented by her report. All these are good evidences for her strong academic research ability.

Second, Yin Yingchao is good at team work and organization. Also, she is skillful in communicating with various people. With a strong team work spirit, she could cooperate closely with her team members. Based on the tasks and requirements, she would make a clear division of labor. As the team leader, she was able to understand each member’ features and merits, which allowed her to bring the advantages of each member into full play. Besides, relying on her communication skills, she could deliver their research results in front of the whole in an eloquent manner, as a result of which, Yingchao was often elected as representative of their group. Thanks to her devotion and team work ability, their team often attained favorable results in various group work.

In view of her remarkable performances, I greatly support her decision to study abroad. And I firmly believe that she will make splendid achievements in the future. I am familiar with Yin Yingchao as I ever taught her some courses including Economics Principles, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Mathematics Finance, etc., and also supervised his SRTR project—Commercial Housing Analysis and Forecast on Its Future Trends under the Context of Strict Control On Commercial Housing. Having known her for about two years, I am indeed touched by her keen sensitivity towards financial issues and data, proficiency in using statistical software as well as great sense of responsibility. This is why I am glad to recommend her to your esteemed university.

What I would like to mention is Yin Yingchao’s aptitude for financial studies. She keeps an eye on the hot economic and financial issues, towards which, she could propose her own views. Often she came to discuss with me about her ideas. Despite that some of the ideas were not mature, I showed high recognition to her sensitivity towards the reality. In addition, with sensitivity towards data, she was able to gather the useful data for financial researchers. Utilizing relevant software, she could analyze the phenomenon in depth and draw conclusions. These are necessary qualities for an outstanding practitioner in the financial field.

Far beyond that, Zhou Yingchao does an equally excellent job in using statistical software. Listening to me carefully in class, she asked me about her confusion actively after class. Yet, what impressed me most is her application of financial analysis software. In the project mentioned at the beginning, she used Excel, Eviews and SPSS to gather and summarize a large amount of data, which enhanced the persuasive power of her final conclusions.

Last but not least, she demonstrated strong sense of responsibility in team work. In team work, she, in addition to finishing her own work, took the initiative to help others, which improved the overall work efficiency of her team. Besides, she has taken part in a variety of research projects held by other professors. More than once, she attended the “Feng Ru Cup” Venture Contest and garnered some honors.

Yin Yingchao is an excellent student who keeps going forward courageously. I am in favor of her decision to study abroad, and willing to offer my full support. 第二篇：写英国留学推荐信时应注意什么

英国留学推荐信不仅关系到能否顺利去英国留学，也关系到奖学金的申请，英国留学推荐信的写作准备工作被许多人视为一件很困难的事，毕竟英国留学推荐信推荐信的角度和其他申请材料都有所不同，而好的英国留学推荐信往往是非常好的“广告”。

英国留学推荐信的目的就像是视为以第三者的角度来推销自己，留学推荐信数量依学校要求不同，但通常有工作经验之申请者，最好准备学术(学校教授)、及工作(工作主管)各一份推荐信，以证明学术及专业上的平衡。在准备英国留学推荐信时，分为2个步骤(事前准备与请推荐者写推荐信)

事前准备分为择定推荐人选、了解推荐信内容的重点及方向、准备二份推荐信3个部分：

A.择定推荐人选：在请主管、老师?等撰写推荐信前，都有会有请「名人推荐」的想法，而所谓的名人，不仅是能耳熟能详的政经界、学术界上的大名，若在其领域很活跃者，也是重点人物哦！找推荐者前，可以考虑以下几点：

推荐都是名人可以加分吗？？

选择最适合我的推荐者(而非最好的)

推荐者跟我的关系与公正性

推荐都跟申请学校的关系。

推荐信每个学校，约需2-3封。(若毕业多年，着重公司主管推荐信；若刚于学校毕业，则以学校教授推荐信为主)

结论：推荐者最重要的考量是对申请者的了解，而不仅是推荐者本身的名气。毕竟国外学校未必知道在国内有名的，推荐信的重点是您的优点且需熟悉申请者的学习情况、学习目的是否明确、适应能力、创造能力、品性和特长等。

B、了解英国留学推荐信内容的重点及方向：推荐信内容字数大约从250至300字之间，故如果在短短行字之间交待重点及方向；且也利于提供给推荐人相关的资料。

推荐者的全名与申请人的基本情况介绍

交待推荐人与申请者的关系(认识期间、认识程度、关系)

对申请者的基本评价(如：专业基础、个性、品性、特点、工作态度、前途估计和实例)

(也可适时提出较无伤大雅的缺点)

(品性部分于之前〝履历表〞所提出的Interest是相呼应的；因国外学校在乎学生是否身心健全、品格兼顾)(学校老师着重学业潜能；公司主管则强调实务应变能力)

推荐人介绍申请人曾获得奖励、发表的论文、参加过重要学术会议，以及曾在学生组织或学术团中的任职来支持自己的评价。

推荐人必须清楚地表明被推荐人留学的身分是研究生还是访问学者，专业领试域及研究方向。必须表明推荐人的态度是极力推荐还是保留推荐。

结论：若推荐者不是太清楚申请者时，准备好推荐信的重点和方向，能利于在请推荐者撰写时，提供相关讯息给。且在拟推荐信草稿时，也较能抓住要点。

C、准备二份英国留学推荐信：教授、名人、主管，通常十分忙碌，英文也不一定流利，故有时推荐人可能会要求申请人先拟好草稿，再来修改、签名。在拟草稿或是正常文件时，注意如下：

推荐信要客观、公正、切忌流于形式，内容空洞。

要与申请人的其它材料(如成绩单)等相符。

应注意格式、文法等，内容力求精简有力。

推荐信的格式与一般书信基本相同。有信头，发信日期，收信人姓名，称呼，正文，信尾谦称，签名，推荐人姓名，职称及工作单位等部分。

勿妄自菲薄，因推荐信用来表达自己的优势的哦！

注意学校是否有提供现成的推荐表格，是利用问答的方式，直接让推荐者作叙述和评价；但推荐表格上常有较难以填写项目，建议填写I Don‘t Know，以致不会产生严重影响。

请推荐者写推荐信：须沟通撰写方式，由申请者拟草稿或是推荐人自行写作；且尽可能的利用交谈机会让推荐人能明白的了解您，则在自行写作或修改推荐信时，才能不会有不符合现状的叙述产生。

完成英国留学推荐信注意下方是否有推荐者签名，务必连同附带的评量表作密封处理，在封口上签名，以昭信校方。
