农村初中英语作文过程写作法指导研究课题方案

一、课题研究的背景和意义

20世纪40年代中期,以行为主义心理学和结构主义语言学为基础的听说法视写作为巩固口语手段的“写话”。因此,写作教学的目的与口语一样,是为了形成语言习惯。

20世纪六七十年代以前,外语写作教学模式对语言学习中写作的探讨一般停留在文本评析上,很少论及作者的思维,这一时期称为文本分析阶段。

当前的写作过程模式较70年代有个很大的扩展。在实际的第二语言写作教学中,它有以下特点:

(1)写作是一个复杂的思维过程。必须为学生营造一个积极、合作与富有鼓励性的写作环境,使他们乐于写作,充分发挥自己的思维能力。

(2)写作需要有明确的动机与积极的态度。写作的题目应结合学生的实际生活需要,使他们具有写作的愿望,而不是为了应付教师而做的作业。在写作效果不理想时,要认识到写作是一个长期训练的过程,不可能一蹴而就。只要坚持不懈地练习,第二语言的写作水平是能够提高的。

(3)写作教学需包括句型、词汇等语言知识的书面练习,应注意句子与段落间关连的语篇结构,应培养学生的批判性思维与逻辑推理能力。

(4)传统的写作从作者个人表达思想与感情出发,但未考虑读者(写作的对象)。在日常工作中,根据不同的写作目的与对象,作者扮演的角色不同,写作的风格与形式差异很大。

(5)使用第一语言与第二语言中存在文化差异。用第二语言写作时,应遵循使用第二语言为母语的人之社会准则,不能照搬学习者习以为常的本民族社会与文化知识。因此,在写作教学中应注意加强第一与第二语言社会文化知识对比的教学。

据了解,每年上交的学术论文中,有关写作的探讨较少。部分写作课的课堂教学流于形式,大多演变成对范文的技术性分析,使写作课堂变成讲解词汇、分析语法的场所,从而失去了写作课应用的特色。在各种课型中,写作课也许是教师最不愿意上的课。不仅备课量大,资料的收集和整理也要花费大量的时间。然而,与投入不成正比的是,不少学生不喜欢上写作课,将写作看成负担,写出来的文章错误百出、枯燥无味。老师花费时间和心血批改的作文也少有学生仔细阅读,更不要提认真揣摩了。备课——上课——批改,这个程序似乎陷入恶性循环,将师生双方搞得索然无味而又身心疲惫。这不是个别学校或个别老师的现象,相反,它具有相当广泛的普遍性。如何采取有效策略提高初中学生的写作兴趣及写作水平成为亟待解决的问题。而过程写作法不失为一条可以好途径。

二、国内外相关课题研究情况

早在20世纪70年代,西方语言学家就指出了传统成品写作教学法的不足,提出了过程写作教学法,他们将写作过程视为一种极为复杂的心理认知过程和语言交流过程。过程写作法的首创者、美国西北大学教授Wallace Douglas 指出:“写作是一个过程,写作课教授的应该是构成协作过程的一步步的操作方法。”美国的Raimes 和 Zamel 是将过程写作应用与英语作为第二语言教学实践的两位倡导者,他们证实了这一方法的可行性,并大力推广过程写作法。Zamel 强调“写作的重点应放在写作表达和创造的过程中”; Raimes 也表明“倘若我们仅仅对写作成品而不对写作过程产生兴趣,则学生写作将不会受益”。

三、课题的界定与理论依据

1、概念界定:过程写作法运用写前准备、初稿、反馈、修改及重写五个阶段,使学生在写作过程中掌握写作技巧,提高写作能力。以交际理论为基础,注重交际和交际能力的配制以及评议的交互过程。它以新的目光看待语言学习总学习者的外部关系,而不是研究学生所谓形成习惯的学习风格。过程写作法将学生视为写作主体,强调让学生体验写作的全过程,多采用课堂交互活动使学生在循环往复的交互过程中挖掘和创造主题意义。

2、理论依据:加强写作教学的策略研究是当前中学英语课改的要求之一。

国家教育部于20xx年颁布的《英语课程标准》明确指出:“语言技能是构成语言交际能力的重要组成部分。语言技能包括听、说、读、写四个方面以及这四种技能的综合运用能力。”其中听、读为理解的技能,也是信息输入的过程;说、写是表达的技能,也是信息输出的过程。多年来,我们一直使用成品教学法作为写作教学的模式,其弊端已然彰显。在现代写作教学课堂中,逐步引入过程法进行教学已成趋势。

四、课题研究的预期目标及主要内容

1、研究的内容

⑴如何帮助学生形成良好的写作习惯:

①平时加强阅读,尤其是要保证一定量的英语阅读,在吸收各方面知识的同时,加强对英语文章的感性认识;

②勤于思考,学会构思,心中有谱;经常做“脑部体操”,即我们平时常说的“头脑风暴”。

③做日常生活的有心人,勤于思考,善于观察,养成记随笔的习惯。 ④将平时所见所闻中有感触的东西以随笔的方式简单记录下来,也是一种积累资料的方法。

⑵有效的学习策略的研究。

2、研究的主要目标

①提高学生对文章的感性认识,积累一定的写作素材;

②养成良好的写作习惯,学会构建写作提纲;

③学会收集资料,做生活的有心人。

五、研究的步骤

1、准备阶段(20xx年5月-8月)

①确定课题,成立课题组,加强理论学习,对课题组成员进行课程开发能力

培训。

②结合我校学生英语写作水平的实际,初步指定活动的目标、主题、内容、方式及相关的活动形式。

③制定课题研究的实施方案,落实课题组成员分工。

2、实施阶段(20xx年9月-20xx年10月)

①实施研究方案,根据活动课程有计划、有步骤地进行实施,并及时对实施过程中出现的问题进行解决与总结。

②20xx年2月对实施结果进行阶段性总结,写出经验与不足,为下一阶段活动的顺利实施做好准备。

3、总结阶段(20xx年9月-10月)

撰写结题报告,结题鉴定。
