学习本文，应注意掌握“坚持”的相关单词的使用方法。在表示坚持做某事时，persist后加in doing sth.而persevere的形式为persevere to do sth.

②The picture reminds us of the fact that in the recent earthquake in Sichuan，China，people at home and abroad donated a large sum of money to the quake victims.
