第二篇:培训中心毕业实习英语报告
Part One---- the Purpose of the Internship
As we, the senior, are about to graduating, we are arranged to take an internship called graduation internship, which is a very important practical learning procedure. Through the practice, we learned how to use of basic theory, basic skills and professional knowledge to analyze and solve practical problems independently, being able to combine the theory with practice, deepening the understanding which will be better used in future’s work.
Being introduced by one of my classmates, Miss Shi Training Center in Yichang is the place where I started my graduation internship. In the internal competition, I was arranged to be responsible for the training center’s registration, training services.
Part Two---- Brief Introduction of Miss Shi Training Center in Yichang
Miss Shi Training Center in Yichang was found in 2009, located in Yichang city, Hubei Province, engaged in elementary school and high school extracurricular counselling training. The training center has a strong faculty. Most of the teachers are No.1 middle school of Yichang, Yichang experimental school’s backbone teachers. After years of endeavor, the center has gained popularity in the local area and students who tutored there have made obvious progress in their studies.
In the internal competition, I was arranged to be responsible for the training center’s registration, training services. After the enrollment work, I would be an English teacher who helping with students’ school work.
Part Three----Process of the Internship
A few days later, I started to work with a humble and expecting heart. The induction ritual is simple but rigorous. I only did a simple introduction, and the company colleagues knew each other and then began to work. Here, I felt everything was true, no floating process in the situation. There was nothing extra, everything here
has its responsibility and right to exist.
The first day was admissions mobilization meeting discussing the recruitment activities that would begin in March. In the meeting the leaders have summarized the former enrollment work , analyzed the current market situation, introduced some recruitment experience and made several admissions scheme. The next day was pre-professional training, which was responsible by professional consultants. The pre-professional training was engaged in introducing the topics that are how to strengthen the team building, how to be a good teacher, the basic business etiquette knowledge. In general, these days’ training has much more content than that of my classes. The pressure of which is far more heavier than that of school. No matter what level your learning ability was, you must master and can use the knowledge in a few days, or you’ll get fired.
After the training, the enrollment work was seriously begun. First, all I had to do was to select a group of campus agents, building a strong campus recruitment team, so that I can successfully complete my enrollment plan. We put up posters in the campus to recruit those who are diligent, good at expressing and responsible to our recruitment team. We didn’t think the students who were apply for the job were so much, which increased our selection work load to some extent, but more choice is a good thing. The job interview hosted by me, together with two colleagues of the company. It was my first time to do the job of being an interviewer. To be frank, it was an nervous experience. I didn’t notice that being an interviewer was an job full of pressure until myself was an interviewer this time. Interviewer must have the ability to hold the whole situation and think up the questions to “spite” the interviewee. Of course, the questions weren’t so difficult that no one can answer. But the questions should be designed helping examining out the interviewee’s ability of logical thinking, language expression, etc, as well as his or her view of value and character. The interviewee’s answer can reflect his or her personality. As an interviewer, he not only need to raise questions, but also has to be able to make accurate judgments, in order to choose the right people for the company. At the same time, the interviewer should also be ready to respond to any reasonable question that the interviewee may raise.
Furthermore, the interviewer is a representative of the company, if an interviewer can’t make the other party convinced, what does others may think the company is? Not to mention hoping the candidates to work for the company. So being an interviewer is not an easy job, not everyone is qualified for it.
After the fierce selecting work, I have organized my enrollment team. Then I will summon all recruitment specialist to organize a simple training meeting, introducing some regulation and information about high school English training course, and sharing some enrollment strategies. In the meeting, I did the task division, who were responsible for the leaflets distribution in front of the dining hall? Who were responsible for the leaflets distribution in the area of dormitory? And who were in charge the the register work?
Soon the enrollment began to develop. In the next few days, I was in the office on duty. And two colleagues were in charge of students’ enrollment work, provide advice for students and help them to complete all the application program. At the same time, I also have to see the volume of the consultants, what the consultation questions are , and how many students have been registered, etc.
Stay in the office on duty wasn’t an easy task. At noon, the rush hour, thirty or forty students signed up, the invoice opened non-stoply, and you have to spend energy to tell them how to fill out the registration information table, how to complete the image information acquisition. After all the information being collected, you have to check the complicated personal information, which has no room for mistake. And in the process to complete registration procedures, students will encounter various kinds of problems, we have to give them the right guidance. Although there weer three people on duty in our office, and each one has his or her own division, we still feel the workload is too heavy to bear, sometimes, in the peak consulting hour, we had no time for lunch. After the busy hours, we sometimes had a feeling of collapse. But after a day hard work, I had to summarized the daytime’s work, analyzing what kind problems encountered in the process of the enrollment and the measures, and thinking up better recruitment strategy, etc. I can't say that work was very tired, I think since I made the choice, I had the responsibility to do it well, regardless of difficulty. After a
week, our enrollment work ended and we made a successful completion of the task, which was recognized by the leaders of the company.
Two days after the end of the enrollment work, we start the training course, organizing students to involve in their classes. What I need to do was to co-ordinate the work of teaching, the teacher in charge teacher led to assist to complete the teaching plan, provides the high quality service for the students, such as distributing teaching materials, creating good learning atmosphere, organizing class activities. The work of this phase was not heavy, but need to use brain.Because the task of this needed to be more creative, more enthusiasm, more patience, and more smile to provide warm service for students, creating a good training environment for them.
The one-month internship made me really appreciate being a teacher. When standing on the podium, being focused by pure eyes, I felt the value and a sense of achievement arising spontaneously. In order to realize this kind of value, I paid a lot of effort. Being a teacher at the first time, I cannot avoid of being nervous, I made full preparation for the coming class. On the first day of being a teacher , I took the full preparation, together with shyness and perturbed, I headed for the podium. I knew it would be a stage where I tempered myself.
The class went more smoothly than I had expected. But I knew that problems were hided. English is a foreign language, for primary and secondary school students, English is quite strange and difficult. If you want to teach it well, it is better for you to make the students have an interest on it. So I adopted some methods. Such as helping students to think up English names, telling English stories. Soon we became good friends and there was no generation gap between us. It can be called as a wonderful experience when students gathered around you and asked you a lot question. However, the atmosphere warmed up, but another question came up. Students started to disobey the discipline. The students from elementary school were active and easily being dis-attracted. Being easily dis-attracted obviously affected the teaching effect. In that situation, I did want to adopt the stand punishment to rule these students. But that way
would undoubtedly deepen the estrangement between students and teachers. However , leaving them alone would make my attempt of letting students learn something in vain. Finally i came up with an idea, launching the discipline appraisal in each group, then students became conscious instantly. From this experience, I learned that teachers need to use flexible methods when ruling students.
The most unforgettable experience during my internship was being the headteacher in my class, which taught me that teacher is actually an occupation melting with skills and personality. Possessing professional knowledge doesn’t mean you can teach well, what is more needed is the understanding and caring for students. Students in the training center are too little to be self-disciplined, especially the backward students. So they need teachers’ guidance, telling them what to do and how to do. So in the noon break, I paid more attention to them, chatting with them, encouraging them, to know their thoughts, giving them more opportunity to express their understanding of the knowledge. They gradually became more and more confident and studied more carefully. We have built up sincere friendship with each other imperceptibly so that at the end of the training course, we were reluctant to be aparted.
Part Four---- Summary of the Internship
1. Striving for better job, accepting the general job.
It is reported that it is extremely difficult for college students to find a job. But from ny personal view, it is not that difficult to find a job but to find a satisfying job. Some university graduates hold the view that though i am not a big figure, I am a college student. Compared with other social groups, at least I need to find decent job of higher wage. It is true that we have learned knowledge from books, but when it comes to the working ability, it is hard to be leveled, strong, so-so,or weak. There is a kind of graduates who go to find job with the feeling of being privileged. There is another kind of graduates gain their bachelor degree through years of hard work. Their hard work and endeavor don’t allow them to find a common, salary-isn’t-high job. They usually think that they should find a job of high salary,
good benefits in a famous company. Only by doing so can they feel it is worthwhile to endeavor so many years.
What’s more, there are people too proud of themselves. They think themselves as competent of everything, but their real ability failed them. However, imagine you are a company manager, will you easily hire a green hand to work for you company? So the formation of the high fragmentation, low not embarrassing situation, so that the difficult employment situation is formed. As water flows downwards, people climb upwards. As a college students, this is no ground for blaming them yearn for higher position, even this phenomenon should be advocated. But we cannot attain the highest level in one step, everything has its a process. We should start from the grass-roots work, start from the less work, strengthen our abilities continuously in the poor work, to show our talent, and then to find a better job. Furthermore, from a practical point of view, we are more than 20 years old, we can not truely be a neet. We have to live by ourselves. So we need to find a job first, a job that can guarantee our daily expense. After we settling down, we can find a better job. So in terms of job, we should Strive for better job, accept the general job. Once settled down, we can look for better job, finding opportunities for self-improvement.
2. When working, knowing the insufficiency of school study, when studying, knowing the hardship of work
For a school student like me, who stays in ivory tower for more than 10 years , they usually are Impulse and impetuous, being unable to bear loneliness. Just like a sword-man who had spent ten years of grinding his sword and bettering his feats. So he can not wait to show his achievements to others. However he never knows that though his feats is extraordinary to some extent, it is far from enough to meet the need to walk the political arena. Although I learned a lot in the classroom, only in working that I find the what I have learned from the class is far from being able to solve the problems that I meet in work. So my learning is narrow, which is far from enough to meet the need of work. In every day’s work, I am under great pressure, which comes from the requirement of learning and mastering new things. By the learning from
work, I gained better understanding of work. I Understand that work is not only simple ground shaking hands, use the brain, completing the task, but is a complex process of learning the way of doing things and communicating with others. Every aspect must be dealt with properly and reasonably.
3. Working Hard, the Real Truth
The company is not school, where you can do things as you like. What company has is never-done business and never-settled problem. We need to be serious when working. Working is not studying, you cannot do the job as you like. One has to do the job according to company arrangement, should their responsibility, and even the responsibility of others, and to do the job well. So I felt worn out after eight hours hard work. Everyone wants to do the relaxing, well-paid job. But in fact, there is no easily-done work. So, for the work, we should hold a hardship mentality. One should know that in a company, there is never lack of people who pick easy jobs and shirk hard ones, and the company never pay attention to the people who pick easy jobs and shirk hard ones. If we are ready to be hard-working and be able to bear the hardship, fulfill the company’s need, we will be recognized by the boss and the prospect will be much brighter.
After experiencing some worldly things, I become more calm, no longer like the early birds too easy to be dis-attracted. When things came up, I am no longer rush to make a decision, but after contemplating in mind and then summed up a plan. This experience make me have the chance of learning to be patient, to be flexible and to be responsible. The 5 days of the enrollment period and a 25 days teaching period, I become no longer so easily to lose temper, no longer shirk responsibility, but dare to bear. As the school leaders often told me I grew more than I expected to be. The experience is not only for my present's comprehensive quality improvement, but also for my future life guidance.
Part Five---- Acknowledgement.
The graduation internship is a try and warming-up before my entering the society. As an intern, I have completed my working task successfully. Although I have encountered some setbacks in practice, being disappointed, but I did learn a lot and gain deep understanding of the society after insisting on. I also have a clearer recognition of my goal. I am still a student, but my classroom has been moved to society. There will be no teacher to teach me but myself to learn from the practice. Here, I would express my appreciation to the leaders, teachers and colleagues who helped me during my internship.
Although the internship experience has past, the one month practice was a qualitative leap of my experience., I learned a lot that cannot be taught in books. I believe that is not the ultimate goal of my journey, but the beginning of hope.
