形容词的比较级
二. 用法：
用于两者（人或物）之间，表示“其中一个比另一个更……”或“较……”，后面通常用连词than连结另一个比较的对象，其基本句型是：
主语＋谓语（系动词）＋形容词比较级＋than＋对比对象。
ex. Jim is taller than Mike.
Mike is shorter than Jim.
It’s hotter today than it was yesterday.
三. 构成：
比较级的构成分为规则变化和不规则变化。
（一）规则变化：
1. 单音节词尾＋er：cold —colder, tall—taller, short— shorter,
small— smaller, long —longer, old— older（旧的）
2. 单音节词以e结尾的，只加r：large— larger, fine—finer, nice— nicer.
3. 以一个元音字母加一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词，要双写词尾加er：
big—bigger, thin—thinner, hot—hotter, wet—wetter
4. 以辅音字母加y结尾的单音节词和部分双音节词变比较级时，先变y为i，再加er：
early—earlier, busy—busier, easy—easier, heavy—heavier,
dry —drier, sunny—sunnier, happy—happier.
5. 多音节词或部分双音节词变比较级时，在前面加more:
friendly — more friendly, careful—more careful, outgoing— more outgoing
interesting— more interesting, difficult—more difficult
6. 部分双音节词的比较级有两种变化方式：

good /well —better, bad/ill—worse, many/much—more,
old—older/elder, far—farther/further, little—less
四. 原级和比较级前面通常使用的修饰词：
（一）在原级前面通常使用very, quite, too, much too, a little, as, so 等。
ex: 1. The room is very big.

3. Today is too hot.
4. He eats too much, so he’s much too heavy.
5. I’m a little hungry, I’d like something to eat.

活动情况的总结
根据中共钟祥市教育局党组关于开展提高选人用人公信度，交心谈心和整治用人上不正之风精神集中学习等活动通知要求，我校在5月份与本单位全体干部职工普遍开展了一次交心谈心活动。
一、交心谈心的主要内容
1、向教职工宣传中央、省、荆门和市委关于整治用人上不正之风，提高选人用人公信度的精神，以及教育局党组在整治用人上不正之风，提高选人用人公信度工作中的主要做法。
2、听取干部职工对本单位整治用人上不正之风，提高选人、用人公信度的意见和建议。
3、了解干部职工的思想，及时化解矛盾，构建和谐校园。
二、开展交心谈心的方式
1、学校校长李本云分别与班子成员及部分退休同志深入谈，诚心谈。
2、班子成员与分管处室负责人，部分离退休同志诚心谈。
3、各处室负责人分别与本单位干部职工认真谈。
做到全校干部职工和退休同志都要交心谈心，收集好的意见和建议。
三、谈心谈话收集到的意见和建议及对策措施
通过谈心谈话活动，我校收集到教工的意见和建议是：1、学校在任用领导干部时，要把民主推荐和考核作为重要依据之一。2、对任用领导干部要任人唯贤，全面考察其德、能、勤、绩、廉，注重工作实绩，不徇私舞弊，弄虚作假，走上层路线。3、提高民主选举的透明度，针对教工的意见和建议，学校的对策措施是：1、坚持和完善教工年度德、能、勤、绩、廉考核制度，实事求是评价每名教工。2、坚持民主集中制原则，坚持和完善教职代会制度，对各项工作结果提高透明度，及时公示。
总之，通过这次谈心谈话活动，我校全体干部职工都受到了教育，提高了思想认识，大家都心情愉快，工作中干劲倍增，为进一步提高丰中教育教学质量充满了信心。
