第二篇：“迎奥杯”英语演讲比赛总结
“迎奥杯”英语演讲比赛总结
随着奥运会即将召开，为了在大学生中弘扬奥林匹克精神，使奥运理念深入人心，营造我校迎接20xx年北京奥运的良好氛围，以及为提高我校的英语应用水平，创造良好的英语学习氛围，在距奥运会还有88天的特别节日里，开展“同一个世界，同一个梦想------迎奥杯”英语演讲比赛。
为了提高活动的知名度和影响力，我们联系了赞助商和合作伙伴。本次大赛坚持参与第一，锻炼为主的原则，吸引了全校40多名英语爱好者前来报名参加，经过紧张激烈的预选赛，最终14名佼佼者顺利闯入了决赛。
预赛结束后，我们召开了全体成员会议，对决赛中的各项具体事宜做了详细的布置。决赛的时候，我们邀请来了学院的孙文成、王立国等专业英语老师作为评委。整场比赛洋溢着竞技的紧张气氛和台上台下互动的热烈气氛，选手们个个神采飞扬，灵活、熟练地运用英语技能做了精彩表演，深入地诠释了各自的主题，她们用准确的发音、流利的演讲使在场的师生不仅体验了演讲的激情更感受到了英语的魅力，赢得了观众的阵阵掌声。穿插在比赛中的英语话剧、场内观众互动问答、等多样形式把比赛掀起了一个个高潮。比赛在同学们的掌声中圆满结束。
这次演讲比赛的举行不仅丰富了同学们的课余文化生活，更激发了同学们学习英语的积极性。
由于这次活动是我们部门纳新后举办的第一次大型活动，在整
个活动中，大一的新成员们都得到了很好的锻炼，为部门以后工作的开展起了个很好的开头。当然在活动的举办过程中也存在着一些诸如现场秩序尚未得到很好的控制等方面的问题，这些都是我们在今后开展活动的过程中都应该改进的。值的一提的是，本次活动得到了学校领导的高度重视，在百忙之中莅临现场指导，在此表示感谢。
