“I think of other ages that floated upon the stream of life and love and death and are forgotten, and I feel the freedom of passing away. “

“Do not linger to gather flowers to keep them, but walk on, for flowers will keep themselves blooming all your way.”

“Stray birds” is one of Rabindranath Tagore?s collected poems. It includes about 300 pomes .Tagore is an excellent poet and artist. During his life he wrote a lot of works, like “stray birds ?”the crescent moon “”the gardener “”gitanjali “”fruit-gathering “”flying fire “ and so on . Most of them have the same theme: love, nature and thinking about life Poems in “Stray birds” are not long, and some of them are just a sentence. The first time you read these pomes, just like in the early summer morning after a storm, and you open the bedroom window, you would feel a pure and peace world. Everything is so fresh and beautiful, but the meaning in the poem is so profound that you can?t stop thinking it again and again. Day and night, streams and oceans, freedom and betrayal, have become one under Tagore's pen. Those short sentences show a profound philosophy of life, and lead the world to explore the source of truth and wisdom.

动物的心灵世界--《我的灵魂遇见动物》读后感

Since ancient times, there have been many stories of animals saving human lives. Most scientists or research experts, after observing animals for some time, appeal for their protection. Why? It is because they have found that animals also have deep feelings and sensitive hearts just like humans.

从古至今，动物救人的传说时有听闻，许多与动物接触过的科学家或研究者在观察动物一段时间后，大多会提出保护动物的呼吁，为什么呢？因为他们发现动物与人类一样，具有丰富的感情与敏锐的心灵。

Recently, due to the pandemic outbreaks of bird flu, mad cow disease and foot and mouth disease, we often see in the news media billions of innocent animals being slaughtered. We can hardly bear to see such news and it makes us quiver. Recently, we found a book on the Internet that greatly attracted our attention. It is entitled “The Souls of Animals”, and portrays their spiritual world. After reading the book, we felt deeply apologetic for the animals and had a strong urge in our hearts to speak up on their behalf!

The Thorn Birds

After reading this book I think it is necessary to share the old legend to everybody .

There is a legend about a bird which sings just once in its life, more sweetly than any other creature on the face of the earth. From the moment it leaves the nest it searches for a thorn tree, and does not rest until it has found one. Then, singing among the savage branches, it impales itself upon the longest, sharpest spine. And, dying, it rises above its own agony to out- carol the lark and the nightingale. One superlative song, existence the price. But the whole world stills to listen, and God in His heaven smiles. For the best is only bought at the cost of great pain ...

Meggie Cleary is just like the bird,and Ralph is her superlative song.

I read the book then watched the movie, both of them gave me great shock, I really admire Meggie,she had the courage to use her whole life to love Ralph, never gave up. She believed that she would love Ralph only in her life. But I don’t like Meggie’s attitude to love, Ralph is a Father, and he mustn’t love Meggie, they really loved each other, but they are not destined to be together. So in my opinion I think Meggie should give in, she shouldn’t fight with God, Ralph had told her he would serve God forever, so Meggie wouldn’t win. Maybe giving up is a good choice. Their love is painful.

“Bird Girl” is referred to an 13-year-old American girl,named Mary Lou Robertson,who is an experienced bird-watcher at a very young age. In fact,she?s so knowledgeable about birds that she has written a children?s book about them. The little girl first became interested in bird-watching just because her family had moved to a new neighborhood and she felt lonely at times.

Every morning Mary Lou takes her binoculars and heads out to look for birds. Mary Lou usually uses her binoculars to identify all different types of birds around her home. Up to now,she is quite an expert on the different types of birds. Mary?s mother seems to be really pleased that her daughter is interested in bird-watching,and encourage her to develop this special hobby.

Many birds are easy for Mary Lou to identify,but she can?t always name every bird she sees,she learns new lessons everyday. When she was writing her bird book for children ,she studied hard by searching the Internet. Many Lou has written a book about birds,she also interprets something for younger children. Although it?s unusual for a young girl to feel so strongly about a hobby,this hobby doesn?t change this little girl a lot,it just tells her how to get to know the beautiful world and something new.

伊桑常常上课捣乱，然后他的家长被叫去学校，被老师一顿批。但他自己却一点也不害臊。最后，他竟然逃学！还谎编请假条，让哥哥尤汗来写。成功后，又一个人在街上闲逛。最后被爸爸发现了，骂了一顿，直接把伊桑送进了技术学校。他刚刚进去，十分害怕，还好有班里成绩最好的一个朋友和他一起玩。后来，来了一位代课老师，这位老师出场是十分怪异。穿着一身小丑的服装，吹着我们中国传统的笛，出场了。他十分可爱、善良、顽皮。伊桑在他的开导下，渐渐变好，学习成绩也慢慢跟了上去。后来又展开了一次“画画比赛”。老师和伊桑的画不相上下，但最后还是伊桑的画，赢得了冠军！开家长会的一天，伊桑的父母以为又要挨批了，结果迎来的是老师们对伊桑的赞扬。当场伊桑父母高兴不已。

并不是所有人都能这样幸运的遇上伯乐的。我只是希望通过这个电影，让社会和更多的家庭知道，该如何去爱我们的孩子。孩子们如同地球上的星星，他们需要爱，更需要自由，阳光，有了这些才有能力去赢得残酷的竞争和挑战。让我们放开对孩子的束缚，让他们更好的去享受生活，成为闪着光芒的星星。

Charles Dickens provides insight into the experience of the poor in 1830s England. Beneath the novel’s raucous humor and flights of fancy runs an undertone of bitter criticism of the Victorian middle class's attitudes toward the poor. Oliver Twist is the leading character who is the victim of the hypocrisy and venality of capitalism and fallen Charitable Institution of 1830s England.

There are different opinions among people as to whether human beings are born with goodness or the opposite, sin. According to Charles Dickens, man is born an angel and what's more, natural goodness is incorruptible. The Characters of Oliver and Nancy in Oliver Twist are typical examples.
