Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Xujiguang. At first ,I got very nervous when I have to give my opinion and make a presentation here ,because I had not had such experiences before. However ,I think it is the valuable experience to get accustomed to express my own opinions and feelings.

Now today my topic is my college life. I wish I could share my happiness and annoyance I have experienced with you all . Time flies without giving a warning .Recalling about the past several months , so many thoughts are flooding in my mind . I just can not tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday.

After entering college, we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school, we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of problems. At college, however, we have to rely exclusively on ourselves. What is more, we have to learn how to get along with others, learn how to study independently, learn to love. There are so many things we have to learn.

Good morning，I’m going to share you with my college life. When I graduated from high school, I made up my mind that I would work hard just like what I have down in high school. I didn’t want to lose another choice to change my life. But when I came here, I found the college life is much more colorful and attractive. There are lots of activities almost every day. And I can’t stop myself to take part in those interesting competition, join in the student council and some other clubs that I’m really interested in. Following my mind, I become a school host and every week I have to do lots of work. I even appeared less in my dormitory. How To Adapt College Life

Now today my topic is how to adapt college life.

High school life and college life are different from each other in many ways. Thus, freshmen tend to feel nervous and anxious when they enter college. In order to cope with anxiety and adapt to college life as quickly as possible it is necessary for freshmen to talk to others, try to make new friends and try something new. It is very helpful for freshmen to make a study plan to use the time more reasonable.

Three years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life. So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately. So，here are some suggestions.

First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus. Spend one hour by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office and classrooms. Next, try to be independent. Learn to do such things as making decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money , and washing clothes on your own. Furthermore, form good study habits. Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates.

When I wasde yong , my father always told me college is a beautiful place . so I came here with my dream . my campus life is totally different from the life in high school . I can arrange my time freely . I spend some time reading in the library , where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind . in my free time , I also join some clubs , where I can make a lot of friends of different majors . about friendship , my roommates have lived about two years with me . in these years , they forgive my faults , cry with me , laugh with me , play with me , they always stand with me and support me . I have learned a lot from them , I love them and treasure the friendship with them.

But time flies , my college life has been about a half , I begin to understand that campus is a large stage , what belongs your own . here you are director and actor . if you dare to try , then the spotlight will call to you all . and what you have to do is try your best to play your role ,whatever happens ,believe yourself . that is right . When sophomore , is mainly for learning without fresh at the beginning , holding the muddled attitudes of life and learning . now recalling the campus life of freshman : classes , dinners , rest filled up my daily life .
