小学生英语演讲稿的准备

1.根据听众对象,注意演讲的总体措词

演讲的总体措词是严肃一些还是活泼一些,是有较明显的说教口气还是用平等的口吻,等等,都要根据听众对象而定。如果场下听众是同龄的学生,那么演讲的内容只要风趣一些往往就能引起共鸣。但另一方面,如果听众大多是上了年纪的教师,太多的笑料反而会被认为“不严肃”,“不尊重”,而引起反感。

用英语演讲,不要用太多 I feel, I think,老是用I,显得十分主观,狭隘。如果通篇全是 I feel, I think 的内容,会给人觉得缺乏说服力。另外,perhaps, maybe 这样的词语,虽然有“客气,谦虚”的成分,但太多会让人觉得你演讲的内容有不可*之处。

还有,在演讲中,要少用you,多用we。用you等于把自己与听众对立起来,而用we则拉近了与听众的距离。比如:You should not smoke.听上去像教训人,而 Let’s not smoke听起来是一个不错的建议。

2.演讲要越短越好

英语演讲应该简洁扼要,直截了当。除非特别需要,一般不要采用中文中的那种迂回曲折的表达形式。据有关专家统计,一般人的注意力一次只能集中约13分钟。所以,演讲长度以10~15分钟为宜。下面是一位在全国小学生英语演讲比赛中获奖的演讲稿,虽然全文只有短短200多个词,却十分精彩,确实值得一读。

3.英语演讲稿的基本组成部分

从大的方面看,英语演讲词实际上是属于一种特殊的说明文或议论文,基本组成部分是:

1)开始时对听众的称呼语

最常用的是 Ladies and gentlemen,也可根据不同情况,选用 Fellow students, Distinguished guests, Mr Chairman, Honorable Judges(评委)等等。

2)提出论题

由于演讲的时间限制,必须开门见山,提出论题。提出论题的方法有各种各样,但最生动,最能引起注意的是用举例法。比如:你要呼吁大家关心贫穷地区的孩子,你可以用亲眼看到的或者收集到的那些贫穷孩子多么需要帮助的实例开始。另外,用具体的统计数据也是一个有效的引出论题的方法,比如:你要谈遵守交通规则的话题,你可以从举一系列有关车辆、车祸等的数据开始。

在英语课堂上,大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题,积极跟着老师读单词,读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象,学生认为自己常常被老师提问,认为自己能够回答老师的问题,于是认为自己的英语学得很不错,自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语,课上占40%,其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固,加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识,当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间,而不是每个学生私有的时间,所以不可能照顾到每个学生,不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的,有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象,很难忘记,但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识,要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫,不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。

那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?学好英语,不外乎就是在听、说、读、写这些方面下功夫。

首先说一下听,每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带,可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带,有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的,根本就没有听过。光靠上课听一点点的磁带,学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说,不能说英语就白学了。每上完一次课,我都叫学生回家要跟磁带读,可是有多少学生真地做到了呢?所读的知识已经学过了,跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能

力,要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音,从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。 接下来是说,英语学了就是要说,要和别人交流。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生,激发他们说英语的积极性,大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多,对每个人来说,说的机会就少。所以下课也要说,放学回家也要说。在学校,我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去,这样有更真实的情景,更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里,希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语,也许你会说你自己也听不懂,请不要这样想,其实学生需要是你的鼓励,你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句,他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂,或者还可以让学生反过来教你,他们会觉得很自豪,因为自己所学得派上了用场。
