Now more and more people get to know it's important to protect our living environment. As a student, it's my duty to do something for the earth. Hello,everyone !Today I’ll talk something about our hometown-Henan . Henan province is in the middle east of China .It has a long and great history .There are many ancient capitals like Shangdu-Zhengzhou,Yindu-Anyang ,the capital of nine dynasties-Luoyang and the capital of seven dynasties-Kaifeng .Henan has large population of 98690000.and there are many places of interest such as Shaolin Temple and Longmen Grottes. Henan has changed a lot during the past 30 years. At last, I want to say I’m proud of you-Henan. I’m sure you’ll become better and better.
4. 家乡变化
In the past, my hometown was very small. People lived a poor life. The houses were old and small. Pollution was very serious, and there was rubbish everywhere .The traffic was not convenient, so few visitors came here.
Now great changes have taken place in my hometown. The environment has become more beautiful. The mountains have turned greener, the rivers clearer and the sky bluer. There are trees, flowers and grass everywhere. People live a better life .Their houses are large and bright. Many people have their own cars. Every year, thousands of people from all over the world come to visit our city.
I'm sure my hometown will become better and better in the future.
5.The Population Problem
The population is one of the biggest problems in the world. Chain has larger population with
1.3 billion. It about one fifth the world’s population .A large population causes many difficulties ，not only for every family，but also for the whole nation . It has become a serious problem. In many less developed areas，some parents prefer boys than girls. As a result ，many girls can't go to school.
I think we should do something to control the population. One answer is known as the one-
child policy. It has worked well in controlling China’s population
6.限塑令
The problem of "white pollution" caused by used plastic is becoming increasingly serious, in which plastic shopping bags play an important role. In China about three billion plastic shopping bags are consumed every day, which results in a great waste of resources and heavy environmental pollution. Luckily, the government has put a nationwide ban on the use of free plastic bags, demanding that all stores and supermarkets not provide customers with free plastic bags after June 1. I agree with the rule, which people can't get the free plastic bags in the shops, supermarkets. It advocates people to use their cloth bags and baskets. It's good for our environment. So I hope all the students in our class stop using the plastic bags, and to use our own cloth bags. I hope we can take care of our environment. Let's make our world more and more beautiful.

7.How to protect/save our environment/world?
As we all know, the environment around us is getting worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted, we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals are getting less and less. Some factories are pouring dirty air into the sky. The population is increasing faster and faster, resources are getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it also has a great affection in the future. People's health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, something must be done to stop the pollution. It's our duty to protect our environment. We shouldn't throw away rubbish everywhere. Trees are very helpful and important for us. We should plant more and more trees in order to live better and more healthy in the future.
If everyone makes contribution to protecting the environment, the world will become much more beautiful. 8.地震逃生
If earthquake happened, firstly, don't panic and calm down. Secondly, find some safe place to stay and don't run in such a hurry. If in the room, one should hide himself/herself under something hard, such as desk, table or even bed and keep away from shelf and cupboard, and never take a lift to go downstairs. If in the open air, find an open place and never get close to cars or waterside. Thirdly, we should help each other when we meet trouble. At last, no matter how strong the earthquake is, if only we have the belief to defeat it and never give up, we must be able to overcome any difficulties.

Nowadays mobile phones are becoming more and more popular among the middle school students. Some think it is good for students to bring a mobile phone. But some people do not think so. They think it is bad for students to bring a mobile phone. Because the students will use mobile phones to play games, sent text messages, watch movies, etc which will do harm to their study. And if a mobile phone ring in the class, the teacher and students would be disturbed. In my opinion, we can bring mobile phones to school.
As we know, the 21st century is a modern age and full of information. A mobile phone is one of the quickest tools for us to exchange information. The mobile phone is a fashionable and useful invention, so we ought to make the best use of it. Suppose there's a sudden accident, it is more convenient for us to dial for help immediately. There're also some games in the mobile phone. We can relax ourselves by playing them when we're tired of our studies. First, I think it's very important for him to learn lessons well. He should spend most of his time on his study instead of computer games. Secondly, I must tell him that playing computer games too much is bad for his health, especially for his eyes. So he must give it up. I can play more sports with him after school. Maybe he will become more interested in sports than computer games. And then I'll ask him to concentrate more on his study. Of course, I will try my best to help him with all his subjects. I think I can do it in many fun ways and let him find much fun in studying. At the same time, I'll ask both his parents and our teachers to help him, too. 12.电视利弊
As we know, TV plays an important part in our daily life. It's quicker and more convenient to get information from TV than from newspapers. It is an important tool to spread culture and information, including foreign languages. And we can learn much knowledge from TV which we can't get from books. What's more, good TV programs can keep us wise and healthy. With TV, children can grow up happily. So it is not reasonable to forbid students to watch TV. But watching TV too long is not good. Sitting in front of TV all day does harm to our eyes and wastes our time for study.
So we should take a correct attitude to students watching TV.
13.玉树地震The earthquake in Yushu
An earthquake happened on April 14th in the Yushu county of Qinghai province. There are many people died in this earthquake. When we heard the news, we were all shocked and sad. But when I think of Wenchuan, I believe that people in Yushu are not alone, because we, all the Chinese, will be with them. We should try our best to help people in Yushu. I will take actions to help the people, such as donating money and things they need for them. And we should make friends with homeless children and cheer them up. If possible, I want to be a volunteer in Yushu and help them build the new house! I hope that they can overcome the disaster and lead happy lives in their rebuilt home soon.
14.Improve Our Environment
Good environment can make people feel happy and fit .To improve the environment can make our life better . What should we do to improve our environment?
We should plant more trees and flowers around us .We shouldn't cut them down .We should stop factories from pouring waste water into the river and waste gas into the air .Whenever we see litter on the ground ,we should pick it up and throw it into a dustbin .Never spit in public . Don't draw on public walls .It's our duty to keep our earth clean and tidy.
15.Water
Water is the most important of all the thing we eat and drink. We can live without food for many days, but we will die without water for two or three days.
However, some people don’t understand this. They keep throwing rubbish into rivers and lakes. Some factor even pour waste water into rivers .As a result , many rivers and lakes have become so dirty that the water there is no longer safe for people to drink .
Let’s do our best to keep the water clean and to save ourselves.
