Several days ago I watched a short video, which illustrates how Ma Yun founded Alibaba in 1999, Yu Minghong founded the Oriental School in 1993, and Yan Lan founded SUNTV in 2000. Here comes the question: Who will be the next?
As we all know, nowadays, more and more graduates are encountering great difficulties in finding satisfactory jobs. The statement “out of school, out of work” do enjoy high popularity among them.
I can’t help wondering why this circumstance still exists in our lives. Is it because the social employment environment is unfair, or labor markets are oversupplied？Actually, these reasons do lead to the unemployment of graduates. However, the reasons of their own cannot be ignored. For example, many of them are adept in theoretical but not practical knowledge. Although they don’t possess excellent professional skills, they are in hot pursuit of a high salary at the first stage of their career life. Facing this situation, some people choose to surrender themselves to reality and even choose a job that they show little interest in. But contrary to this phenomenon, some select to set up their own undertakings.
Obviously, the reward of being self-employed will benefit the owner most. If the self-employed person succeeds in business, chances are that
he will earn a great deal of money. But more importantly, not only can he gain valuable experience from his business, both in management and operation procedures, but also further develop his intelligence, creativity and innovation. Last but not least, he also can control his own life and fate and demonstrate his own elegant bearing.
Have you ever heard this motto “Hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope, and you can make your life a splendid one.” Which derives from Yu Minhong who built the Oriental School in 1993. Before the foundation of his own business, Yu led a normal and smooth life and work for others. But on the contrary, after he has set up his own company, he not only leads a rich and colorful life , but has realized his dream of directing ways for children, and thus enlightens his own life. It is undeniable that starting a business of our own requires more effort, patience, time and it also involves certain risk, but if we succeed in employing ourselves, we will become the master of our own lives. We can see hope from these successful examples of self-employment. So just do it and maybe you will be the next one. Employ yourself, enlighten your life!

A Positive Attitude to Life

In our daily life, people often do different things: some live happily, no matter what has happened; but some are easy to be upset , and they even kill themselves. Why? What leads them to do the different things? Obviously, the answer is the different attitude towards life. As is known to all, life attitude can be divided into two kinds: the positive one and the negative, and they lead to positive and negative behavior.
At the beginning of my college life, I lost my ID card and my bank card by accident. What’s worse, I had to wait for one month and a half to re-certificate a new ID card, until my registered residence had been migrated to Beijing. Though it would not be so inconvenient if I live a simple school life, the trouble is that I couldn’t re-certificate the bank card without my ID card, and as a result, I couldn’t withdraw money to live. But I was extraordinarily composed at that time,which surprised me when I remembered the days afterwards. Maybe is is I knew I had a dependable father who would help out of the problems of money. Finally, he did so.
In my opinion, what makes us hold a positive attitude towards our life is to remember what we have. Those who complain about their life must always care about what they don’t have, and never believe they can change the condition. When you think of what you don’t have, you will find your life so unsatisfactory. So we understand why some of the poor can hold a positive attitude towards their life. As for those who find their life are not so satisfactory, they live their life with great hope for the future and work hard to change their life. They believe after their hard work, they will have what they want have, which is also regarded as a positive attitude.
Finally we can draw a conclusion. To hold a positive attitude to our life, we should pay more attention to what we have; when we are not so satisfied of our life, we should believe we can change it and do work hard.
With a positive attitude, to be a better man.
