Chinese Dream in my view

After visiting the exhibition The Road To Rejuvenation, president Xi deliver an important speech at the meeting and pointed out that realizing the great revival of Chinese nation is Chinese Dream of the time.

therefore, “Chinese Dream” has become the most popular word in China. However, China media?s Reporting on China for Overseas Readers call the dream “China Dream” instead of “Chinese Dream”. Why? Do they think the former is better? After searching the internet, I realized that the word “Chinese” relates to some negative meaning, such as “ Chinese attacking” “a Chinese landing”;in those phrases, “Chinese” means

“ chaos and ridiculous”. So to avoid misunderstanding, the media choose to use “China”. But in my view, “Chinese Dream” is better than “China Dream”

First of all, ?China” means the nation and it?s a unity. So people may ask: What is China dream ? Once the dream come into conflict with people?s dreams, what can we do? Absolutely, all people want to realize there own dream.It?s various. Instead,“Chinese” particular emphasis on the people, and every person is different and have different dreams. It shows the diversification. Another reason is that being a Chinese we should be full of confidence.If we ourselves don?t support our “Chinese Dream”, how can let foreigners respect “Chinese” and “Chinese Dream”? It?s a good chance to show our country and establish its great power

image to the world.

So let us call it “Chinese Dream”. Chinese Dream belongs to every Chinese. With that goal in heart, we will be more confident to overcome the difficulties in the future.

My Chinese Dream

As is known to all, the past 30 years of reform and opening-up have brought about historical change in China, no matter in political, economic, cultural or many other aspects, we Chinese all made remarkable achievement. Both our national status and our people`s living standard are relatively improved. At the same time, our Chinese dream ---realizing the Chinese revival of nationhood---also comes true. However, China, at present, also face many new problem too, so when we talk about what is our Chinese dream, each person has his or her own opinion, someone may assert that my Chinese dream is to take further action to reclaim Diaoyu Islands, which is inherent territory since ancient China; Someone may argue that punishing corruption and cutting through red tape is my Chinese dream.

Actually, My Chinese dream just about food safety, although it seems unimportant apparently, it is closely linked to our daily life and play an important role in our body health. Nowadays, unsafe food directly threatens the health of our Chinese people. The most notable scandal is Sanlu Milk, after drinking such toxic formula, more than 1200 children developed kidney stones and hundreds of children died. As well as, a message, which was posted online by a famous host a few months ago, warned Chinese consumers that yogurt and jelly might contain industrial gelatin made from discarded leather shoes. And worse than that, toxic bean sprouts, swill-cooked dirty oil, lean meat powder and tainted steamed buns…one piece after another piece about food scandal had headlined the public media recently. The nerves of our Chinese people were badly rattled by such news, and all of us are worried about our daily diet and body health.

In other words, it is indeed a crying shame for our country, just like our Vice-Premier Wang Qishan, who attended two sessions (the National People`s Congress and the Chinese People`s Political Consultative Conference) in 2011, stated that he was also shameful of food safety issues in China, but he also announced that the government will take action immediately to ensure that Chinese people can eat safe and clean food as soon as possible.

Undoubtedly, many factors are contributed to current condition, perhaps the most important one is the outdated law system of food safety, it is lack of enough regulations and severe punishment for illegal acting relevant to food safety. For example, due to the weak punishment for committers, a famous company illegally added clenbuterol, which is known as “lean meat powder”, to pig feed in order to lower the fat content just said sorry to public but still on business now.

Second, the influence of money worship and utilitarianism value lead many immoral and profit-hunting food manufacturers produced and sold amounts of unsafe food.

In this case, our government obligatory make great effort to fight against the such situation, for example, China`s health authorities urged food producers to display all their additives used in the products on their package, 38 types of food additive were withdraw from the market, and the enterprise that violate food safety laws also be

punished more and more severely.

So, if I have a dream, a Chinese dream.

I dream that more and more innovation of food safety supervision will put into practice as soon as possible; I dream that after great effort made by our government, together with the help of our Chinese consumers, unsafe food will be rooted out completely, and I dream that one day, we Chinese can eat clean and health food every day.

That is my Chinese Dream.
