I have many friends in Primary School and Junior High School, but my best friend was in my Primary School.

She is a girl. She is a beautiful girl. She is also a kind girl. She?s usually smiling and favorable. And she isn?t good at simulate, so everyone can easily discover it.

One day, we had a Singing competition. I wanted to join the Competition but I was scared to be alone, so I asked her. Although she already had many programs, she agreed. But the second day, she was in a bad mood. I asked her, but she didn?t admit. I asked her all the time, finally she told me the reason: Maggie also wanted to sing, and she hoped she would sing with her. But she didn?t want anybody hurt, so she was thinking about it. That?s not a very big deal, but she considered it for a long time. What a kind girl!

Her nickname is ?mushroom congee? because her hairstyle is like a mushroom and her surname is ?Zhou?. We all call her mushroom congee. She is ?Lily Zhou?, who is the person I like most.

The Person I Respect Most

Do you know what respect means? Some people think respect means to be polite to each other, to not laugh at each other and to not say rude things to each other. I think respect means a good manner, a defined behavior and a noble moral principle which we all are expected to have?

The person I respect most is my best friend-Mathew. He was my classmate when I was in primary school in Hong Kong. He was very smart and funny. On exam, he can easily get full marks; everyone liked him and asked him for help with the homework. After class, he played with us on the playground and told us jokes that made everyone laugh!

In year 3, my math was so bad. I failed math in the mid-term exam. I felt very bad and he comforted me. Then he stared to help me with my math, he taught me after every class. In the final exam, I got a good result. I was so grateful to him. And he plays piano very well, and he got many prizes in the piano competition.

In year 6, I came to Shenzhen to study because of my parent?s work and we had not seen

each other for a long time. Fortunately, I have his e-mail address and we still keep contact on-line occasionally.

In the summer holiday of this year, I met him in the primary school in Hong Kong. We felt very surprised and excited. We talked a lot about our recent life, and then we played together for one day and had dinner together. He was the same, as friendly and humorous as always.

Now I will tell you why I respect him most: because he always does everything better than me. What?s more is that he is never proud of himself and he would help me and teach me generously. He is perfect in my mind. That?s why I respect him most!

I admire most is my father, he was so tall.. In my impression, my father know everything, all the problems he can solve. He is sad in me, father to comfort me, let my heart to relax, when I was pride, father to ease my impetuous soul, let me no longer proud. Every corrupt black early work, this is why? This is to let me have a better learning environment! My father is making money for me. Father, you are the one I love most is also the person I admire most!

Today, I am going to talk about the person I admire most. The person who I admire most is my father. He has so many good characteristics and has so much life experience that I have learnt a lot from him.

It is known that being obedient is a virtue in China. My father is a very moral person. He tells me that it was not easy for my grandmother to bring him up. Whenever he hears my grandmother is ill, he becomes very anxious and unhappy. Therefore, he often goes back to the hometown to see her and take care of her. He is really worried about her. What he says and what he does always impresses me deeply. It is my father who sets an example for me; be kind and respect your elders.

Loving his family, his wife and dear children, is another one of my father?s many virtues. However busy he is with work, he always tries to spend quality time with us. He often plays with my younger brother and helps my mother do housework. He takes care of my mother, such as when she was hurt last week. He cares for us so much. I?ll never forget what he told me one day, “This is what a man should do for his family.” and this is what he abides by.

To me, my father is strict with me when I do things, and he always gives me advice. For example“Friends are very important”,“Being angry is bad for everyone”or“Nobody is perfect, so you can always improve”. My father gave me a saying on my 9th birthday. It is“Don?t cry over spilt milk, and don?t be sad because of withered flowers”. I was unhappy because I wanted more toys at that time. However, those toys have been broken for years but his advice has stayed with me. To this day I remember and try to abide by what he told me on my 9th birthday. I don?t like what he told me in the past, but now I know he is right. He always cares for me, and his care is embodied in the many small details, embodied in the many unknown actions, embodied in the knowledge he has given and continues to give to me.

It is from my father that I really learn the famous sayings “It is never too old to learn.” My father is always as busy as a bee, but no matter how busy he is, he continues to try to improve. He will often have some training classes on weekends, because he wants to improve himself, which makes him exhausted and tired.

A real man should shoulder the burden of what he has to do. To love his family and working hard are what a strong person should do. This is how my father sets an example for me and my brother, which allows me to learn many more things.

It is because of him that I will try my best to be a good person.

I love my mother, she is the person I respect most. She is very busy

everyday. She takes care of me and my father. She does housework as soon as she gets up. She calls me up at half past six in the morning, and then makes breakfast for me and my father. It takes a long distance from my home to school, so my mother escorts me. She meets me and go back home at half past five in the afternoon. In the evening, I can have a very delicious dinner. After dinner, I do my homework. I always go to bed at ten o'clock.

On weekends, our school doesn’t have class. So I and my mother stay at home. My mother does too much housework and reminds me to study. My mother always can answer my questions. So I respect her very much. My

mother doing housework well everyday and makes me learning in high spirit. I respect my mother, and love my family as well.

我最爱我的妈妈并且她也是我最尊敬的人。他每天都很忙。她照顾我和爸爸。她从起床开始就一直做家务。早上6:30他叫我起床然后做早饭给我和爸爸吃。我的学校里我家很远所以我妈妈要送我上学。下午5:30她又接我回家。晚上我还能吃到一顿丰盛的晚餐。晚饭后我做我的家庭作业。晚上10:00我上床睡觉。

在周六周日，学校不上课。所以我跟妈妈待在家里。妈妈要做许多家务并且还要督促我的学习。我的妈妈总是能解答所有我的难题所以我向她学习。我妈妈虽然是一名家庭主妇，但是我很尊敬她。因为她每天要做那么多的家务并且学问很高。我爱我的妈妈和我的家。 (红笔所示为改动部分)

P.S: 在英文电脑排版时，要在每句话的末尾加一个空格，每个段落之间要空一整行。标题居中。

标题中每个实词的首字母要大写。

注意人称代词的运用， 回去仔细看看语法书。人称代词的错误是最容易被察觉的致命错误。还有人称代词不要重复赘余。

决定作文成败的主要因素首推立意。首先，流水账式的日记体作文不可取。其次，选材要新颖，立意要高一些。另外，能用一个词写的，最好不要用两个词。比如“On weekends”。

我并未做太大的改动，仅仅是在你立意的基础上优化了一下词句。随着英语学习的深入，我们的许多不足会暴露出来。这仅仅是一个开始。要攻克写作难关，除了多加练习，别无它途。练习的过程要独立完成，切忌抄袭。
