经过这次的作业，觉得自己学到了很多，以前多数在谷歌，百度里搜索，不知道数据库这些，经过这次检索，发现好多数据库资料很齐全，而且各个数据库可以互补。其外，数据库上的内容可信度比较大，被大多数人所接受，参考价值达。而网上的东西带有一家之言的感觉，供参考可以，学术研究还是得谨慎。我觉得如果只理解个大概，查百科全书就好了，它里面信息涵盖量比较大，比较全面，例如英语百科全书，这个百科网站里有好几个方面的可以查到很多信息，不同的信息之间相互补充。而且是英文网站，对我们英语专业的学生来说很好。如果要深入研究，就需要查专业一点的数据库。中国学术期刊网是个不错的网站，各种论文应有尽有，可供下载，而且年限选择广，可根据自己要研究的期限来搜相关论文。综合各方面我还是觉得超星图书馆最好，不仅有图书，还有各种报刊杂志，杂志的刊期也有近期和出版较早的，有利于资料的收集，而且还有中英文链接，是个不错的数据库。这次作业，我觉得对我大四写毕业论文有很大作用，而且对以后查资料也是很有帮助，总之受益匪浅。
近年来对傲慢与偏见作品研究新动向（2006到目前）集中在对从这部作品中看简奥斯汀的爱情婚姻观
以及由此对婚姻观研究；对人物个性，语言特色的分析；对写作手法（如反讽手法和幽默效果）的分析；从不同角度评价两种译本；从这部作品中体现的女性意识；影视语言与小说语言；傲慢与偏见中透露的社会现象；
艺术来源于生活，又高于生活。简奥斯汀写的作品反映了当时乡绅淑女的爱情，有作品已有研究她的作品反映的婚姻爱情观。同时艺术也影响生活，我就想关于简奥斯汀及其作品研究应该还有：她的作品对当时以及现在社会的人们婚姻爱情价观的影响。
