The Most Useful Thing
During this summer vacation, something good happened to me. Four dear American friends came to our city, Chu Zhou, bringing their knowledge, happiness and kindness to us English teachers in this small beautiful city. It’s a great honor to be a student of them. We have stayed together with them for about three weeks, during which time we all studied effectively and got along well with each other. The four friends are so friendly and helpful that we all feel at ease with them.
In these three weeks, I learnt many certain kinds of knowledge, such as, American money, marriage, press, pollutions, health, Christmas, Easter, Thanks Giving, the rules of playing baseball, the Bible stories, the effective ways of teach English, many kinds of food and animals, many pieces of sweet songs and interesting games.
Also, I learnt how to live peacefully and happily side by side with people who come from different culture and custom. The most important thing is to respect each other and then try to understand each other.
All of these are what I have learnt in these days. And the most useful thing that I learnt is this: If you want others do something first, you first. You may wonder what the meaning is. I will get it across by the following sentences.

2.专业知识的学习使我重新思考自己的知识结构。
在专业知识的培训教学中,授课教师们采取灵活多样的教学方法和现代化的教学手段,把枯燥、抽象的基本理论讲解的生动、形象,教师讲的精炼,我们学的清晰、明白。
尤其是******教授的课。***教授在****工作,积累了丰富的案例。他从自己积累的案例导入,给我们上课一堂生动的礼仪课,让我们深切的体会到了在国际贸易往来中了解国际文化和商务礼仪的重要性。同时,常教授主要研究英语文体学和英语修辞学,他从修辞的角度给我们讲解了一篇商务英语函电,他的讲解使本来枯燥干涩的商务英语信函一下子变得非常生动,更容易理解。也让我深刻体会到教师自身知识、素质的重要性,真如俗语说的给学生一碗水,教师自己得有一桶水呀。如果我在自己的课堂上也可以将英语语言讲的这么有美的感受和体会,学生也一定会对英语更感兴趣。同时,我也深刻体会到专业知识一定要深入研究更要从多方面研究。
其次是*****教授的课也给我留上了深刻的印象。他除了是一名优秀的教师外还是*****顾问。他有着丰富的教学经验,他的课无论是授课内容、教学案例、课堂组织、课堂节奏掌控、课堂语言的运用都展现出一名优秀的老教师的风采。授课中他结合自己制作教学矢量图、收集参考书,编写辅助教材等的经历讲述了如何讲好这门课,并提出教学要多走一步的理念,让我感慨良多。另外,***教授知识非常丰富,课堂上旁征博引,妙语连珠,我在享受他的课的同时,也在思考和惭愧,作为年轻老师,我深刻认识到持续学习是老师生存的第一需要;教学要博于术而精于道,要使学习速度赶超时代变化速度,要时刻让心灵保持警醒状态。
在培训的这一月里多位专家、名师的授课内容涉及专业领域内的新方法、新发展,为我打开了专业发展的观察窗,帮助我总结经验,看清目标,认清自身能力与专业发展的差距,以便自己脚踏实地的、一步一个脚印的去实现目标。
三、学员间相互交流学习,分享教学经验。
参加这次培训的老师们都是来自全国各地的英语老师,有年长的有年轻的,有的还是从事教学的领导。大家都以诚相待,学员之间、老师之间由陌生到相识、到相知、到亲密无间,成为良师益友。课上课下老师们经常是相互交流,不同的思想,生动新颖的教学方式给了我很大的触动和启发,使我受益匪浅。收获知识的同时,我也收获了友谊,使我更觉得国培的珍贵。
四、培训体会。
此次培训给了我一次重新当学生的机会,也使得我有机会以旁观者的身份重新审视教师这个职业。使我有机会静静的思考怎样才能成长成一名优秀的不辜负学生的老师。使我深刻意识到作为一名高校教师所肩负的责任和历史使命。新的起点,永远的责任。在今后的工作学习中,我会将在这里学到的新知识尽快地内化为自己的东西,真正做到学以致用。同时,我会更加努力学习同行们的学习态度,求知精神,协作能力,及时进行自我充电。
这一次培训的机会,这一个月的培训时间使我更加清醒的认识到:作为一名教师,学无止境。
