据小伙子介绍，他姓陆，来自天等县，在南宁一个商贸公司工作，陪他来兑奖的女子是他的女朋友。4月17日晚上19时20分，陆先生来到中福在线北湖南路销售厅投注视频彩票，当时他充值100元，选择10号终端机投注了“连环夺宝”游戏。大约半个小时左右，100元就投注完了，于是，他又充值100元继续投注，接连多次未中大分，卡里的分值也越来越少。
这时，陆先生将投注的分值由80分/5注改为40分/5注，大约又过了半个小时，时间来到20时20分，终端投注机画面就显示出24颗“绿宝石”，怎么拍就是不动了。这可吓到了他，以为机器出故障了。他连忙叫来服务员帮忙处理一下。谁知服务员一过来，立即告诉他中大奖了，是全国累积大奖25万元。这时，陆先生这才明白原来自己中了大奖，可真是意想不到的事情，陆先生开心极了。
中奖后，陆先生在第一时间把中奖的消息告诉了女朋友，但由于女朋友一时没有轮到休息时间，他就等到女朋友休息的当天，两人一起来到南宁市福彩中心办理兑奖手续，目的就是为了分享这一快乐，体验这一幸福。
