Danny is a little pig . He is unhappy because he wants to leave home to see the world . It’s a sunny day . Danny goes away when his parents are sleeping . on his way he

meets an elephant , a peacock and a rabbit . At last , he gets to a lake . He looks at his reflection in the water and says, “I wish I have an elephant’s nose , a peacock’s tail and a rabbit’s ears .” after a while , Danny’s wish comes true . He runs back excitedly . But his parents can’t recognize Danny , “Go away , you’re not our son .” Danny goes to the lake again . “ I just want to be a pig .” He says sadly .Danny waits and waits . He becomes a pig again .

Danny runs back quickly . His parents hug him and say , “ This is our lovely baby .” 丹尼是只小猪。他很不高兴，因为他想离开家去看世界。

Bitty lived in town. She was a very good girl.

Bue,she was very ugly. She wanted so much to be pretty.

One day,a magician saw Bitty. Her kind heart touched him.

He asked her what she wanted to have.

Bitty said,"I want to have a mirror that is going to make me pretty."

The magician was worried.

He made the mirror,but it had one weakness.

He gave the mirror to her anyway and,said,

"Girl! Every time you look into the mirror,you'll get prettier,little by little. You should look into it only once a day.

If you look into it more often than that,

your face will change so much than people will not recognize you."

Bitty was delighted to have the mirror.

She looked into it once a day.

She was getting prettier,little by little.

One day,she got greedy and too proud of how good she looked.

"If I can be pretty,what does it matter whether or not people can recognize me?" So,she looked into the mirror twice a day.

She was getting much prettier,but no one could recognize who she was. She wanted to show off to her friends.

So,she met her friends.

"Hi,girls! It's me,Bitty."

"Who are you? You're no Bitty. Why do you act like her?"

Her friends could not recognize her.

She was sad and went home.

"Mom! I'm home."

"Who are you?"

"Mom,it's me,Bitty."

"My daughter is not as pretty as you are. Get out of here."

Bitty was lonely,because nobody recognize her.

Even her family could not recognize her.

She began to cry and thought,

"Even if I have to be ugly,again,I want to go back to the old days.

Then,I could live with my family,and hang around with my friends." It was too late to take back her greediness and pride.
