I hate to keep pets and tell lies. The thing that I hate doing most is smoking. As we all know, smoking is not only bad for ourselves but also harmful to others. Whenever my father smokes, I feel rather sick. Besides, it is a waste of money to smoke, I think. What’s more, smoking pollutes the air. So I hate smoking most.

Most of the time I do things which I enjoy. However, there are still things that I hate to do. For example, I hate to go swimming. I am able to swim but I think it is dangerous. I hate to read ghost stories, too, because they are not only frightening but also boring. Besides, they teach me nothing. In fact, I hate telling lies most. A person who tells lies is dishonest. I have changed a lot

How time flies! I have changed a lot in many ways. I used to have short hair, but now I have long hair. In the past I was quiet and shy, however, I am outgoing now and I like talking with others. I used to be terrified of insects, but now I can catch them. I used to spend much time playing games and did badly in all my subjects. This term, I made a decision to study hard. With the help of my teachers, I have made great progress. This makes my teachers and parents take pride in me.

The rules in my school

There are lots of rules in my school. For example, we are not allowed to have long hair, and we mustn’t get the ears pierced, I like these rules because teenagers should have good behavior. Do you have good friends? I like making friends. I think friendship is good for our development. But I don’t think everyone can become my friend. Last month, I volunteered in a local hospital. I had an unforgettable experience there. I helped cheer up the sick people. As a volunteer, I felt good about helping others. Why should we keep away from smoking?

There are many people smoking around us. But smoking is really bad for us. It can cause many kinds of diseases and it will increase the risk of cancer. Over the years, the number of young smokers is growing all the time. They think smoking makes them look cool. I don’t think we teenagers should be allowed to smoke. We should be strict with ourselves and obey the rules. And we can concentrate more on our studies and work if we don’t smoke. Don’t smoke and we will enjoy a healthier and happier life!
