My life has changed a lot now. When I was a child, I used to have a lot of time to play, but now I have to study all day. After school, I used to play basketball, baseball and soccer with my classmates, but now I just stay at home and do my homework. I like listening to pop music now. I used to listen to classical music. These days, I am often busy preparing(准备) for my test. Books are my good friends. I used to read a lot of cartoon books instead of reading textbooks all day.

This morning was my unlucky morning. Because I stayed up last night, I got up late this morning. My alarm clock didn’t go off. By the time I got to the bus stop, the bus had left. So I had to run to school.

By the time I got to school, the teacher had already started lessons. By the time I sat down in the classroom, I realized that I had left my Chinese book at home. By the time class was over, my teacher asked me why I was late and told me to be on time next time.
