One can broaden his horizon by keeping close and maintain an intimate relationship with various kinds of foreign people. Besides, if one wants to travel abroad, the benefit of mastering a foreign language seems more prominent. He can live in the foreign country, with no worry about the communication with local people. Instead, learning a foreign language allows one to interact with the natives on a deeper level, both fostering relationships and enhancing the ability to understand important basic information.

Besides, knowing a foreign language can also help one to understand another culture, such as understanding the way they greets each other, the grammar they use, and the compliments they give. With the development of technology and transportation, the awareness of cultural integration becomes very significant.
