My first job After I read this passage named "The first job", it suddenly reminds me of my first job which I received a half years ago. At that time, I found a part-time job transmitted by wechat. It was a software company that wanted to employ some people who were capable of writing something to guide the customers using their software. Their software, named Shenbian, had a function like our circle of friends.That is, it provided us with a platform to say everything such like news, experiences, thoughts and even secrets. Thinking about my not-bad writing skills, I decided to have a try. An email came one week later, asking me to have a one-week probationary period after I submitted my own resume. They said I could get money which ranged from 50 yuan to 150 yuan per week by writing 4 to 5 qualified passages on the platform of their software. I accepted their requirement. During the probationary period without any pay, I tried my best to think about all kinds of interesting things to appeal to the customers. To be honest, this week made me so tired. Although what I wrote was not really attractive, it was also not bad in general. One week later, I got another letter which told me to begin my real job from then on. On the letter was an agreement attached to my admission. They said I would be fired whenever I couldn't write enough qualified passages or did wrong things. I nearly wanted to give up at that moment when I read the letter for I deeply understood how I had gone through this one-week probationary period. It was a very hard time which made me feel so stressed. During my probationary period, every time I had to worry about how to write following passages after finishing the former one. I had to think about how I could write a good passage and where I could get my writing materials. It was a great challenge which drove me nearly crazy and made me so stressed to fit in. But no matter how hard it was, I still decided to keep it on and started my first job under a great pressure.

It was three days later that I handed on my letter of resignation for an unhappy accident that I was misunderstood to write something that shouldn't be written. I was warned by my boss strictly. I kept silent all the time although I thought that I had not made any mistakes. I couldn't stand it any more, so I made my final decision and set me free in heart.

This unhappy experience about my first job has kept in my mind till now. It made me go through a life of those who had stepped into the job market and struggle for life ahead of time and understand how hard earning money is. It gave me a warning sign and told me I am supposed to treasure the life now.

My First Year at college

College is always considered as a turning point in our educational career and life. I would use adaptationas the key word when describing my first year at college.

As we enter a new school, we first have to adapt a new environment and meet new people.As we leave home and move into the school dormitory, we need to learn to live and get along with other people who have different living habit. And as we start a higher level education, we need to adopt a new way of study. Teachers are no more like the ones in high school that will push us to learn. Instead, we have more options and spare time to do what we want.

I am glad that I have overcome the difficulties and adapted the new life of college. I have achieved a lot more than I expected at my first year of college. First of all, I have made new friends who share the same hobbies and met new teachers who inspire me in all way. Secondly, I have become more independent. I have got used to a new way of study and often study different things by myself. I can take care of myselfwithout parents being by my side all the time. Last but not least, I have learnt to make full use of my time. I believe time management is a very essential skill in college life as we have more freedom than ever before. It has helped me not to waste time and turned me into a well-organized person.

My first year at college is excellent and I really appreciate all that I have learnt this year.
