一、

课程性质：

“英语学术写作”系英语专业选修课程，是英语专业学生撰写毕业学术论文的理论指导 课程。

二、 教学目的和要求：

“英语学术写作”课程旨在帮助学生掌握撰写毕业论文（学士学位论文）的基本技能， 如选题、查阅资料、列参考书目和作引语、摘要卡片、注释以及写提纲、论文摘要和撰写论文本身。通过本课程的学习，要求学生掌握学术或学位论文写作的格式与规范。

三、课程内容和学时安排（总学时32）

四、 教学原则与方法

采用启发式、讨论式教学，以学生为中心，充分调动学生的积极性；在扩大学生的写作 知识的过程中提高英语的写作能力；培养学生的逻辑思维能力和独立思考能力；为学生提供尽可能多的实践机会。

五、考核方式：

本课程的考试方式采取学生撰写研究报告的形式, 期末要求学生完成研究论文一篇。总评成绩由平时成绩的30%与论文成绩的70%合成。

This class introduces students to the methods and perspectives of essay writing. After learning this course, Ss are supposed to have the basic ability to write academic and research papers and abstracts in English, and communicate with foreign scholars in their own fields in English
