This topic reminds me of what took place in last summer when I was traveling in Beijing. During the trip, it happened there was a concert of my favorite music band named Mayday, which was going to give a live performance in Beijing Master Stadium in the western region of the city. Coincidently, one of my friends bought me a ticket. Unfortunately, I failed to enjoy the show for being late for approximately 1 hour.

There were two reasons leading to the lateness. The decisive one was I was too unfamiliar with the metro routes of Beijing, so that I caught the wrong lines for twice and wasted 30minutes on the way. The other thing was the weather, which changed dramatically on that day. Before I entered the subway station, it was only slightly cloudy. However, when I went up onto the ground, It had begun pouring/raining cats and dogs. Without an umbrella in hands, I had to wait for the rain stopping.

Finally, when I rushed to the main gate, the door had been closed. Standing outside of the building, I could hear the music spreading out. At that moment, my heart was filled with mixed feelings of being regretful, angry, depressed but also excited. You know what, I enjoyed the concert till the last song by standing outside.

This lateness taught me a lesson that no matter what to do or where to go, a good preparation and plan is indispensable and crucial.
