（1） 自我介绍是向别人展示你自己的一个重要手段，自我介绍好不好，甚至直接关系到你给别人的第一印象的好坏及以后交往的顺利与否。
（2） 自我介绍不仅仅是展示自己的手段，同时，也是认识自我的手段。古人云：“知人者智，知己者明”，常言道：“旁观者清，当局者迷”，可见，要想认识自我，给自己一个准确的定位不是一件容易的事情，而通过写自我介绍，会对自己进行一个有意识的梳理。
2、 自我介绍的方式：
自我介绍可以有不同的方式，
（1）按照使用的语言来划分：可以分为口头的，书面的。我们这里主要讲书面的自我介绍。
（2）从书面的自我介绍来看，可以有自传性质的自我介绍，比如，像我们学习的《鲁迅自传》和《老舍自传》两篇文章就是这样的自传式的自我介绍。也可以有以事件为中心，突出个性特点的自我介绍。
3、 自我介绍的禁忌：
（1） 自我介绍最忌讳平淡无奇，不能够把个人的特点展示出来。
（2） 自我介绍还忌讳写成简历形式，缺少文学色彩。

It’s a great honor for me to deliver this self-introduction. My name is XXX, native of XX, XX Province. I was born to a scholar family with both my parents as civil servants. I respect them from the bottom of my heart. I graduated from the university with the Bachelor degree for economic major. After working for three years I returned to the university for further study while at my job. Last year I got the Master of Engineering from XX University. In the past five years, I have been engaged in sales and management work. Now I’m a chief executive in a company. Over the decades, I have had more than ten papers published in periodicals of the national level.
