三个应该注意的问题
（一）卷面整洁，书写清楚
1、齐头式卷面：段与段之间空一行，全部向左边靠。
2、写错的地方可以用透明胶带粘干净。
3、用黑笔做。
（二）构思简单，少犯错误
容易犯的两个错误：
1、名词：单数可数名词前加a/an，复数加s。不知道的解决方法：所有名词前面都加the。
2、主谓语错误：从句出现多个谓语。注意主谓搭配得当
（三）中心明确，层次分明
每段第一句都是中心句，从提纲变过来。下面加逻辑词一、二、三。
1. 观点类（包括观点子类、利弊子类、提问子类和选择子类）
2. 批驳类3. 办法类4. 原因类5. 谚语类6. 书信类7. 图表类
归纳起来说，实际上是三大类，即命题作文、应用文与图表作文。
命题作文是所有作文的基础，即是上述一至五类，包括英语的题目和汉语的提纲（二至三点）。如果五类浓缩为两类的话，则为观点类与办法类——因为笼统地说，批驳类可以归在观点类，原因类可以归在办法类，谚语类根据不同情况归入观点类（或批驳类而后又归于观点类）。
二观点类写作要诀 考试作文，实际上是覆盖面极其狭窄的，这与考试的性质、每次只能出一题而非多题选择及字数时间等限制密切相关。我们写作的大多是说明文和议论文的初级形式，而描写文未有涉及，记叙文新近四级有所触及。而应用文是单独的一门课程。
写作中可作题目的为what、why和how，而最重要的即是“是什么”（观点类）和“怎么做”（办法类），而why(为什么)单独成题却日渐稀少（进入混合类作文却极多）。
观点类就是两种情形，前者是对现存的观点（通常是两种）做一选择，后者谈论事物本身的性质。前者中已有的观点事实上是大众存在的观点，通常是两种对立的观点。此时两种观点可选择其中之一，亦可超越两者作一综合，后者风险大收益也高。此种文章通常有三种写法，概括如下，例外极少。
1. （AB——I——C）2. （A——B——I）3. （AB——AB——I）
第一种情形是先叙两种人观点（分别以A与B表示），第二段谈自己观点（以I表示），第三段下结论（以C表示）。
第二种情形是第一段叙述第一种人观点，第二段叙述第二种人观点，第三段做一选择并下结论（偶尔可将结论置于第四段）。
第三种情况是第一段简单叙述两种人观点，第二段展开详述，第三段自己选择并下结论（偶尔可将结论置于第四段）。
这里有几点补充。首先在叙述两种人观点时，通常都应有开篇句，例如：
Different people have different views on opportunity.
People’s opinions are always different once they talk about job-hopping.
其次存在一个段与段之间衔接的问题——两种观点分别在两个段落叙述，那么这时的过渡句通常放在第二段段首。
再次是何时使用哪种写法的问题——这里最先要考虑提纲，其次就是对欲拿高分的同学来说，考虑一下此种论述是否已非常充分，来调节众人与我的观点所占的比例（如第一种情形我的观点所占比例最高，后两者自己观点占比例较低，特别是第三种情形更是如此）。
这里还有个自己的观点分几点说的问题，一般来说是三点——如果要举例子，一定要典型、精炼，在点内举例更须简洁。一般是一、二例。举例有若干办法，现举几个：
Such as在句内引起多个名词或名词词组的短例子。
For example / instance引起单个整句，普通。
A good case in point is…是个好句型，意即一个“好例子”是…。
Just think of …, who / which …拓展性好，后面是非限制性定语从句。
第三种情形实际上是先简单列出两种人观点（第一段甚至可以是一句话），而后第二段再展开，有一种特殊的办法就是在此段中对A与B分别进行批判而非解释，这时第三段极有可能是超越两方论点的综合式写法。
观点类的第二种情况是对事物本质的论述。此事物可以是一项制度、一种现象甚至是一种观点。通常分三段写作，首段先对这一现象或制度作一介绍，次段表明自己观点，三段作结。这里有几点须注意，就是首段可分两句，第二句就是对第一句的拓展。如果首段只有一句，则过渡句为保持文章结构平衡，大多应放在第一段末。绝大多数情况下，此类文章应有第三段，而不能并入第二段中。第三段可以是一句话，更多时候是两句话——第一句是结论，第二句是递进或解释。

六、记叙文
记叙文在四级考试中共出现三次，它可以记人，也可以讲述一件事或者一系列事件。可根据内容的需要，穿插使用描写、抒情、说明、议论等手段。其主要用于说明事件的时间、地点、人物、事件{背景、起因、结果}，即通常说的五个“W”{when, where, who, what, why}和一个事件发生的过程，即“H”{how}。整体写作要掌握好以下几个方面：
1. 要有明确的中心思想，文章所以的情节要围绕中心思想展开
中心思想就是作者写文章的目的和所要表达的观点，是文章的灵魂。
2. 交代清楚记叙文的各个要素{时间、地点、人物、事件、原因}，只有这样才能使读者掌握事件的全貌，进而正确理解其思想意义。

The Day My Classmate Fell Ill (or Got Injured)
During the SARS period in this spring, the year of 2003, one of my classmates, Li Ming, was struck down by the virus and was immediately sent to hospital.
The news spread quickly on campus. At first, we were terrified and wondered if we were infected too. 二、英文信封的写法
