With the increasing number of university graduate fail to find a job, some parents start to hold the opinion that going to university is nothing but waste money and time. They argue that if family has the money to support child to attend to university, they would rather to spend the money to support their child to start their own business, which might get more reward than go to university. In my point of view, I cannot agree with that.
随着大学生就业难的人数逐渐增加，有些父母开始认为上大学除了浪费钱和时间根本就是一无是处。他们称如果家里有钱给孩子上大学，他们宁愿拿这个钱给孩子创业，这比上大学的回报还高。在我看来，我无法同意这个观点。
In the first place, university is not a place only to learning knowledge from books, but also it could open a door to a brand new world to students. For instance, there are lots of students’ association in university, students could choose one or two to learn and practice their skills according to their hobbies, such as a university entrepreneurs club is a nice chose for a student who are going to start their own business after graduated, it will help them to make less mistakes on the road to success.

In the second place, who could guarantee that a high school graduates would make a success in business field. Apparently they are lack of professional business knowledge and experience. What’s the most important is that they are lack of contacts. Those factors will make them fail every easily, even though they have a strong money backup from their parents.

To speak frankly, students should go to university if they get the chance. It will be totally different from go to the social college.

According to a recent research, most Chinese college students can not speak exact English pronunciation. Nearly every Chinese student learns English in universities. As far as I am concerned, it’s necessary to hire foreign teachers to instruct students.

“thank” until I came to international college. My pronunciation was wrong before I touch the foreign teacher. His native tone gives me a lot help.

Besides, when we're free, we always take part in great variety activities which makes us obtain different ability.

Recently, I heard that one of my friends wanted to change his major after one-year learning because he found that he had no interest and motivation in learning this major. From my point of view, it is not wise to change major halfway.

In short, it is not advocated that we change major halfway. Therefore, we had better take all aspects into consideration when we are choosing major so that we can avoid change major halfway. Once we choose a major, we should try our best to learn it better.

Skipping class is very common on college. Some students skip classes because they think that some courses are boring and useless. However, in my opinion, there are always something value in each course we can learn.

How to evaluate students? When it comes to this question, I think most people will have a word in front of their mind. It is score. But now some people propose another
opinion. They don’t think it is right to value a student is qualified or not only by their scores. As far as I am concerned, I would stand in the latter side, because I think to qualify students only by score is one-side and not good for the development of students.

With the increasing number of college students every year, a number of people start to suspect that whether college study is necessary.As far as I am concerned, college study is necessary. There are reasons accounting for my point.

First, college study is an effective way to improve ourselves. We are able to learn some major knowledge and improve our skills, which gives a basis for our future career. Second, college study is a bridge between school and society and it gives us a chance to get acquaintance with society in advance. For example, we need to learn how to get along with different kinds of people so that we can cooperate with others better. Last but not least, college study is helpful for us forming correct view on life and sense of value.
Through college study, we are gradually developing the ability of thinking independently and forming our own model of thinking. And this process is definitely important for our future life and career.

To sum up, college study is definitely necessary if conditions allowed. Therefore, once we choose to continue study on college campus, what we need to do is to make full use of time and try our best to make our life wonderful.

There is no doubt that it is very important to keep a harmonious relationship with our roommates since we spend most of time in the dorms as college students.However, as to the best way to form strong ties with our roommates, different people have different opinions. Some insist on increased participation in the group activities. Still others argue for keeping no secrets between each other. In my opinion, enhancing communication is the best way to maintain a good relationship with our roommates.
毫无疑问大学生在宿舍内保持和谐的关系是很重要的，因为我们大部分时间都在宿舍里度过。然而，说到最佳的保持关系的方法，不同的人有不同的想法，有些人认为应该增加团体活动，有些人认为舍友间不该有秘密。在我看来，增加交流才是最好的和舍友保持良好关系的方法。
My suggestion lies in the following two reasons. On the one hand, if we frequently exchange ideas we can know our roommates better in terms of their habits, merits,
demerits and so on, so that we can avoid frictions and conflicts with them. For example, one of our roommates is a night owl and she may as least make no stir as bedtime if she doesn’t change her habit of staying up late after we talked with her peacefully rather than quarreled with her. On the other hand, the more communication of thought, the more intimacy between the roommates there will be. By sharing happiness and sorrow we get closer to each other.

If any unfair means other than hard work can secure high marks, there is no denying that the students will be encouraged, to some extent, to seek devious means to achieve their goals in life. The result may be that the society will end up in unfair competition.

In today’s job hunting market, many companies tend to hire students who have job experiences. It seems that working experience seems to be an indispensable part of job hunting. However, in my humble opinion, students should focus on their study instead of sacrificing their precious time to meet the short-term financial needs. The disadvantages of doing part-time jobs outweigh its advantages.

On one hand, he hopes that he can have some contribution on academics study, on the other hand, he wish he can make more money though part-time jobs. But the truth is, you can't have your cake and eat it too. More evidence indicates that students working more than 20 hours a week have lower grades; some of them even fall in the exams.

The part-time may help ease the students’ financial burden, but may have negative effects on them. According to the survey, many working youth expressed a cynical attitude toward schoolwork and future life. They even play truant to make money. What’s worse, most of the part-time jobs offer students’ limited value to their self-improvement. Serving at the fast food restaurant or being a salesman in a supermarket won’t give you too much experience. Sometimes, it’s just a waste of time.

In summary, the students should quit their part-time jobs and enjoy the lives on campus. They should view study as their priority in university days. It’s not worthy to go outside to do the jobs.

Their money is from their parents. Falling in love with someone will increase the burden of their family and themselves.

In addition, dating will distract students’ attention from study. Although college students are growing more and more mature, they are still teenagers having little life experience. Their self- discipline always is not good. If they can’t deal with the relation
between study and dating properly, their study always will be given up by themselves. Even they won’t give up their study, but it is surely influenced.

Almost all students pay great attention on grades because those who get high scores are considered as winners. Hence, students are trying their best to get high grades. Some people argue that high scores stand for students’ ability. Some people believe that scores not equal to students’ ability to handle things. In my opinion, I think that grades have nothing to do with ability. Reasons are listed below.

First of all, grades can’t represent students’ ability to handle things. Most tests need students to recite things. Those who have good memory can get good scores from this kind of test. However, our society needs talents who have great skills in handling things which we can obtain by experience rather than getting good scores by testing. On this point, scores can’t prove students’ practical ability.
首先，分数不能代表学生处理事情的能力。许多的测试仅仅需要学生记住一些内容就可以了。那些又好记性的学生在这样的测试中获得高分。但是，社会需要的是那些能够通过经验锻炼自己处事能力的人才而不是通过测试获得高分的人。就此点来说，分数不能代表学生的实际能力。
Secondly, grades can be faked. It is a common phenomenon that many students will cheat in the exams. In order to get high scores, students will use every possible means to cheat in the exam. So, scores are not trustable.
其次，分数可以造假。学生在考试中作弊很常见。为了得到高分，学生会用各种方法作弊获得高分。因此，分数并不可靠。
In conclusion, scores stand for nothing related to students’ practical ability. Besides, we can’t believe grades because they could be faked.
