英语日记的写作方法及例文
要学好写英语短文，就必须经常练习写作。记日记是提高书面表达能力的有效方法之一。日记是每日生活的记载，是一种记事文体。
一、日记的格式
英文日记通常由书端和正文两个部分组成。日记常以第一人称记下当天生活中的所见、所闻、所做或所想的事情。中、英文的日记三格式大致一样。英语日记的书端是专门写日记的日期、星期和天气的。左上角是日期(年、月、日)、星期。右上角写上当天的天气情况，如：Sunny，Fine，Rainy，Windy，Snowy，Cloudy等。
1、日期表达有多种形式。年、月、日都写时，通常以月、日、年为顺序，月份可以缩写，日和年用逗号隔开。例如：
A)September 1，2004或September 1st，2004也可省略写成Sept. 1，2004或Sept. 1st，2004；the 1st of September in 2004(月份不可以缩写)
B)只有月、日：September 1或September 1st(月份可以缩写)
C)只有年、月：September 2004或the September of 2004(月份不可以缩写)
以上的1或1st都应读作the first.
2、星期也可以省略不写，可将其放在日期前或后，星期和日期之间不用标点，但要空一格，星期也可缩写。如： Saturday，October 22nd，2004；October 22nd，2004 Saturday
3.天气情况必不可少。天气一般用一个形容词如：Sunny，Fine，Rainy，Snowy 等表示。写在日期之后，用逗号隔开，位于日记的右上角。如：
Saturday，March 4，2004，Windy；1st January，2004，Fine
二、日记的要求
日记的正文是日记的主要部分，写在星期和日期的正下方，可以顶格写，也可以内缩3至5个字母的空间。由于记载的内容通常已经发生，谓语动词多用一般过去时。但也可根据具体情况，用其它时态。如：记叙天气、描写景色，为了描写生动，可以使用现在时，以表现当时的情景。再如文后发表感想或评论可用现在时态或将来时态。记日记力求简单明了，有连贯性。若有文字提示，则应重视提示，把握要点。在句式上尽量使用简单句，以防繁杂，造成语法、句型错误。
三、日记的类型和训练
日记分为记事型、议论型、描写型和抒情型。建议大家在学习写日记的过程中，可按以下步骤进行：
①将一天所经历的主要事情和过程依次简要地记下来，不附
加任何感情色彩，这是最简单的记日记的方法；
②阅读别人的日记，并利用所学过的句型来表达个人在一天
中观察到的或感受到的事情。

Today is Tree Planting Day. At 7∶30 in the morning，
all the students in our class met at the school gate. We

Jan.19th, 2009 Sunny
This is my first time to join the summer camp in Zhejiang University. In the morning, we took part in opening ceremony. There were more than four hundred students in this sumer camp. I felt very happy because I know I can make more friends in this beautiful city. It took us nearly one hour to listen teachers’ talk. Then we had to begin our first exam.it was not very hard. On, I forgot to talk about our headteacher. He was a student, too.but he becameour teacher for twenty days. I though he was a good teacher, too. He was very handsome. I was very happy t met him. He came from Australia. It was a very beautiful country. In his class, not only we can learn many English knowledge, but also can develop our spoken English. We talked about many things. On, it was very nice.

Jan.19th, 2009 Sunny
My winter holidays started this morning. It is Monday and ahead of me there are the most exciting vacation. I am flying to Beijing to visit my aunt and uncle. This will be the first time I go there. I will stay there two weeks. it is just incredible. I am so pleased and excited. I am packed already. My uncle told me to take warm clothes because the winter in Beijing is very cold this year. I am a little nervous beacause I was never flying by plane. I am going alone but I hope that everything will be all right and that we won't crash. I am sitting by the window so I will be able to watch the Earth from the sky. My aunt is going to pick me up at the airport. I am afraid that I may get lost among big crowds of people swarming onto the airport to meet their friends and relatives. I know that I can take care of it, but I am still very nervous. Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country. I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock. After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

Jan.19th, 2009 Sunny This afternoon, we play a game called ‘Family Tree’. This game is very interesting. I’m very interested in it. Our teacher’s family is very large. She has many brothers and sisters. But I am unlucky, I has only a sister and I without brothers. But I think I have the best parents in the world. They are very friendly to me. I live in a good family. My grand parents loves me, too. When they buy meat, they will give the best parts of the meat to me.
When I was a child, I can’t undertand them. I want to have bread. My grand father took a bike to Qu Tang. Because in our village there is no ‘bread house’. Qu Tang is far from our village. Now I grow up. I understand them when I think of this things. I will cry I can’t use words to say I love them.
I love my family!

This is the first day of my family’s holiday in Hai Nan. The weather there is beautiful. It is so much warmer than my hometown. We are going to stay here for one week so we can enjoy the sun as well as visit our relatives here. We will be stay in a hotel for the time being. I am getting very excited as I can spend so much time on the beach now.
This is the second day in Hai Nan. Because of the long flight
yesterday, my parents decided to stay in the hotel instead of visiting our relatives. Hence, I have a lot time so I was able to spend on the beach. What a beautiful place! White sands… blue sky… beautiful tropical trees…
The third of our holiday! We finally visited our relatives today. Both of my uncles live here, but they are on each sides of the island. Since the island is not really big, so we were able to visit them within one day. My mom called them and told them that we would be visiting today; therefore, by the time we go there, they provided us lot of fruits as well as nice meals. I had a lot fun with my nephews (both of my uncles have a son) today.
Another day of our holiday! We got up early this morning and tried the breakfast in the hotel. It was a pure western style breakfast.
There were lot of different kind of bread, beacon, roasted potato, pancakes, etc, and yes, of course, coffee. I ate so much as we don’t eat this kind of breakfast at home. My parents were laughing at me! Who cares! Hahaha.
I spent almost all day on the beach today! What a wonderful day I had! We heard the weather is very warm in Hai Nan during the winter, so we all brought our swim suits with us. The water was a little bit chilly when I first got in (I guess it is because it is still
winter!). But, after I spent a while in it, I didn’t feel cold at all. I swam several hours, and of course I took breaks in between. Finally, I had to go because the sun was going down! I wish the day was longer. My parents planned to go shopping today. I was thinking to spend more time alone on the beach, but they insisted me to go with them. What can I do?! To be honest, I really hate shopping, especially, shopping with my mom. She almost had to stop at each store and try to find something that she could buy. My dad and I had to stop at an ice cream bar so we could take a break from being
overwhelmed. My mom finally satisfied with bags of stuff.
Today is the last day we could spend in Hai Nan before our holiday ends as we will be flying back at noon tomorrow. I finally convinced
my parents so we were able to go to the beach again, but before we were able to do that, I spent a couple of hours in the pool in the hotel where my mom was very happy with! Like the other day, I spent most of my time in the water as I knew that I would no longer be able to do this at least for another year. I stayed there really late until the beach was getting little dark. I watched the sunset and took many beautiful pictures of it.
Our flight was at noon, but we had to get to the airport before 10 am. We got up early again in the morning and I help mom for packing. We stopped at McDonald for breakfast on the way to the airport. While we were at McDonald, there was a white man sitting behind us and eating alone. I quickly finished my food and started a short conversation with him. Because my English is not so well, I didn’t say a lot, but I am happy for what I did.
I woke up late today and my whole body was aching! I told my mom and mom found out that I also had fever. She took me to the hospital and we saw so many people waiting outside of the
emergency room. I was told that there is flu going on. I realized that maybe I caught it from someone at the movie theater yesterday. I should be more careful next time when I go out.
My family went out for a Japanese dinner today. We went to the famous one located in the center of our city. We got there around
6:30 pm and saw many people were sitting at the reception area. After talking to the girl there, we found out that people usually make a reservation before them come as it always is busy this restaurant. We ended up wait for about one hour before we sat down. What a waste!
I went to Li Ming's home for a study group today. There were 4 people in our group. Wang Yan, Zhang Peng, Li Ming and I. We studied for our math homework for about one hour and played a little bit English games after.
My father bought a new 60 inches Samsung HDTV. I normally don’t do a lot at home as my mom always complains that I often make things worse! But I did help my father to assemble the TV today as I wanted to watch it quickly. After we were done, I turned on the TV right way. It has such a beautiful colors and it is very clear. It will be fantastic for sport I think!

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during my summer vacation.They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. Summer view of the countryside is very beautiful. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning breathing the fresh airlistening to the birds singing and enjoying the green trees red flowers and the river. I like fishing with my friends.
When night comes I sit under the tree with my grandma listening to her telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go backI am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.
